TV Heroes Season 3!

I think a clarification is in order. The Hatian acts like a dampener, suppressing the powers of a person while he is near them. The baby seems to turn things (including powers) on and off.

So, think of a normal person with abilities as a lamp. The Hatian can wrap a blanket around the lamp, and no light gets out. The baby turns the lamp off, and no light is generated. If the Hatian walks away, the blanket falls off and the lamp shines again. But if the baby walks away (once he learns to walk) the lamp stays off.

If Sylar is then a super powerful 5,000 watt halogen search beam, the Hatian can put the blanket over it but some light is still going to get through. But theoretically the baby can just "turn the light off" at its source. Then he can attack him with his baby fists of justice.

We have yet to see him turn someones ability off yet. He did turn Hiro's on but it also may just have been Hiro's need to save Ando that kicked in part of Hiro's ability.

Also as seen Monday when they baby was far enough away the Japanese truck driver's truck was able to run again.

No one needs clarification, we can all see who's powers do what lol.

Jereme is right, once the baby was out of the range of the vehicle, it started. What is the Haitian's radius anyway? I don't think it was that big either.

Would suck if Sylar turned into Matt and took the power away from Jr. Then again, he can duplicate a power without stealing it through empathy.

but that requires him to actually spend time with someone to get to know them, and actually get in touch with his emotions beyond his daddy issues.

He used it on the shape-shifting guy. He didn't cut his head open to poke around like usual. I highly doubt he got in touch with his emotions then. Whatever he learned with Elle he knows how to do now. It's just, he rather prefers slicing peoples heads open.

Either that or he got it through the back of his head before sticking the bolt in.

so another pointless episode under our belt, where will we go next?

i mean besides the last 5 mins, as usual, every episode lacks any progression. its cool to see how everything came about and why they formed the company, but i mean come on. there are what, 2 episodes left? are we any closer to finding anything out?

pretty sure this is my last season of heroes, i dont know if they will make another or not, but this is my last. id quit now but i have too much vested in it at this point to not know how it ends.

Angela wanted them to see why the company was formed in the first place. She needed them to understand so they would go with her and start a new company. She thinks by having them maybe this time around the company won't do whatever it takes by questionable means to accomplish the same goals as the last company.

I can't look at Youtube at work :p

There were a few movies that were filmed where I live that I got to be a part of, easy way to make money. 13th Warrior was supposed to be named "People Eaters" lol.

Based on Crichton's "Eaters of the Dead"...yep, sounds right :)

Great movie btw.

Last week's ep made me go "oh snap, history's repeating itself...for those who can time-warp".

i mean its so overly dramatic. i mean come on admit it. she could have just said "this happened blah blah blah" and we could have skipped all the BS and got on with the story...

I will agree. Personally I watch the show for the Hiro/Ando antics. Those two just have me dying laughing usually.

so another pointless episode under our belt

Wasn't totally pointless. The writers were sitting around trying to think of which X-Men mutant they hadn't ripped off yet and all said "STORM!!!!" in unison so bam, pointless character #2374325 is introduced. Wouldn't be totally surprised if that was her one and only appearance, too.

im 100% sure of this. did you also like their dad? oh man that made me laugh. they should show more cool powers, but instead lets build on a 50 year old pointless storyline that will be forgotten by next episode.

You guys sure do like to complain a lot. I enjoyed the episode. Though I am wondering how it's going to end with just 2 episodes left. I do feel like there hasn't really been a definitive point that this season is going to end on like the other season have. But I guess, we still have 2 episodes left to see what happens.

And even though things aren't exactly moving fast, I really like how the story is going. It's a definite improvement on what they did with 'Villians'.

I don't get how some are saying the episode was pointless and didn't mean anything. They established the origins of the company, Angela's motives, the Petrelli family officially reunited and they basically said they were going to start another company.

do you see what you just did there? how long did that take? heroes has a knack for dragging and dragging and dragging and dragging, let me know when to stop, and dragging and dragging on and on and on and on about things.

its good to establish a storyline and its good to have everyones background, but digging bodies? black and white flashbacks? come on

I'm confused. Did the baby restore Hiro's powers?

You do know that they have to fill a whole hour, right? And they did that by showing what happened, rather than a 2-minute recap of what happened 50 years before; which wouldn't have answered a lot of questions. If you want a brief, low-depth summary of what happened in the episode go read a synopsis online somewhere.

wow thanks for putting me in my place. i thought this is where talk about the show, not tell each other what to do. guess im wrong.

Decent episode tonight. Sylar really REALLY has issues. That guy needs a shrink or something working on him at all times.

Overall I felt the episode was just okay but it's nice to know what moved Sylar to make that press release. I kind of feel bad for Sylar but it was very, very lucky for Micah that he was having these issues. I really doubt the kid would have been alive if Sylar was in his normal mindset. I really hope that Hiro isn't going to die.
