TV Heroes Season 3!

wasn't there supposed to be a double episode today? Thought that's why Terminator didn't start again today.

The Fallout 3 reference was pretty funny.

Hayden was actually wearing less makeup than she has at several events recently. She is still wearing too much though.

Yeah I thought the same thing about Parkman painting the future. I guess they wanted someone to do it without adding a new character. I did find the, "What's that on your neck," part funny.

Overall I liked the episode and it left me wanting to find out what happens to the characters.
 
Anyone like yesterdays episode? I though Daphne's death was pushed aside too quickly.. but Sylar with an evil sidekick is always always cool.

I hope things develop nicely.

It also airs on Fox, not NBC. Starts back up again this Friday and that new Dollhouse show comes on after it. It was moved to Fridays because the ratings on Tuesdays were pretty bad and the show was facing cancellation. It's on its last legs now so if the move to Fridays doesn't boost ratings it'll probably get canned. :/ I'm more excited about TSCC coming back than I am about Heroes currently, though these two eps have been a step in the right direction.
 
Don't think that Daphne died.

Peter didn't get his dads powers, his dad removed people's powers when he took them.

The only thing Hayden's make up artist needs to do is:

A. Stop painting her eyebrows on brown when she has blonde hair.
B. Stop using an oil based make up, her face looks caked. Daphne and Tracey don't have that problem.

And... Nathan is a dick.
 
I totally forgot to watch it last night and until I saw this thread it reminded me, so I just finished watching it online.

And yeah, I have to say I don't think Daphne died. She was shot, but there was no real scene that really showed she was actually dead. Parkman would be a lot more mopey too if she had died, instead he's just really pissed off.

I hope Hiro gets his powers back... somehow. I also find it weird how Peters abilities work now, it kind of sucks. :/ He won't ever be a real badass since he can only use one power at a time. I do however like how he secretly got Nathan's flight power at the right time. Also, yeah Nathan's a dick.. but not a total douche like that asshole soldier guy.

I guess they didn't think it was obvious enough how much his powers were a clone of Rogue's, so they just took it one step further to make it really obvious. Also Hiro will get his powers back, just a matter of time. He's too popular not to.
 
They both (peter/hiiro) should get their powers back. I remember an episode where they say you cant really change the future, something else will happen in its place that will redirect it towards the original "plan".

And in the future, Hiro has his powers and Peter is a total badass. Though i think if the abilities were a "gene", when peter injected himself he shouldve got his original power!

Btw, Micah and the Muscle Mimick where?!

Dude.. the future has changed so many times. The old futures that we have seen have already been altered and changed. The futures that have been shown to us are no longer viable. If you recall, in the futures we've seen: The city was suppose to have blown up (that changed/didn't happen), The virus wipes out nearly all life on Earth (that changed/didn't happen), Super powers are given to anyone who wants/can afford them (that changed/didn't happen). So what makes you think that the future with Peter having his powers and being a badass is going to happen.

Oh yeah, and Claire is suppose to become a cold hearted bitch/killer. That isn't going to happen either because the circumstances have changed. Oh yeah, and how about Sylar being all good and having a son? Nope, that isn't going to happen either because you know what, he killed the woman who loved him and was going to have his child. So.. please, once again, you cannot possibly expect those previous 'futures' to hold any relevance to the current story.

I really don't even think that future with Ando killing Hiro is even going to happen, and to be honest I don't believe Ando killed Hiro at all considering we now know what his powers are and that they don't hurt anyone.

Also, Micah only had a small part at the beginning of Season 3 in order to explain that Tracy isn't Nikki to the viewers, and that Nikki really did die. We haven't seen muscle mimick girl since season 2 and I highly doubt we'll ever see her again. Kind of like that Irish woman that fell in love with Peter, oh yeah.. we don't talk about that I guess. After all, she was stuck in an alternate future that doesn't exist anymore.

My guess is Peter will be able to absorb powers permanently when touched Ando or something. After all, his power is to amplify other powers, so it'd make sense if amplification of Peter's powers would let him absorb them permanently, no?

Unless touching Ando just gives him the amplification power of no use since the moment he touches someone else he'll absorb that power instead of amplifying theirs, thus making it useless to absorb.

And no, I don't think Daphne really died either. Matt would be crushed and too sad to simply shrug it off and say "Let's get fight back guys!".

And damn them if they killed all of the other people on the plane...

I also hope Peter gets his full powers back (I'm another a fan of the character). You know, we never did get to see the complete future-badass-Peter vs future-badass-Sylar fight in season 1.

I would love to see something like that this season. An all out slugfest with both of them flying/turning invisible/etc while hurling fire, bolts of lightning, and random objects at each other would be a great climax for the series finale.

I am not convinced Daphne's dead. I like her character, and I really hope they didn't kill her off.

I think Hiro will get a form of his power back, but not exactly the same. That was one of the bigger issues with previous seasons IMO - too much time travel. I do love Hiro dearly, though, and whatever he winds up with, it better make him squint his eyes.

And, yeah, microwave sidekick is lol.
 
all peter has to do is touch sylar and get the power to absorb powers again.... pretty simple, yep, simple.
 
That's what I was thinking, too. Sylar has empathic mimicry but just prefers intuitive aptitude right?

well he learned to do what peter did. peter just never wanted to be an asshole and kill people to get what he wanted. also peteres powers evolved into non lethal form(hes a good guy, duh) and sylars evolved into the lethal form(bad guy cliche)
 
If you remember, Sylar's powers also come with a hunger for more powers. Which is why he kills. Peter had the hunger once, I really don't think he want's to have that hunger again.
