TV Heroes Season 3!

Just to clarify, "Mohinder's cure" wasn't a cure.. it was just Claire's blood. Her blood can heal anything, as we saw when it brought Noah back to life after being shot in the face.

Wrong Mohinder'd blood plus Claire's blood was the cure. It was not just her blood. You need both for the cure.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Doh.

Good episode.

Spoiler:
I thought for sure that Claire making Peter "feel the 200,000 deaths" was going to be how Peter got his scar. The cuts she made on his chest looked just like the scar did on Future Peter.

Sylar's nuclear punches were awesome.
Spoiler:
I totally thought that we were going to see her slice his face up, too...

More than made up for last week's product-placement bonanza.

Spoiler:
I always kinda thought Sylar and Peter were the same, yet different. Both can do effectively the same thing (at least in seasons one and two, by "gaining" others' powers), just through different means.

Now it seems that Peter might actually be worse than Sylar, although he could be of stronger stuff than Gabriel ever could hope to be.

Nuke-punches were badass. Badass to the max.

I'm still horked off about the blatant ripoff that is Mohinderfly, though. They need to cut that shit off faster than they did their Magneto-wannabe.

Spoiler:
I thought the doctor said it was Nikki, Barbara, and Tracy. I'm almost positive I heard Barbara, though I could be wrong.
Spoiler:
Yep, he said Barbara, Nicky, and Jessica.

Spoiler:
true. but didn't nikki have two alt personalities? one of the dead sister she remembered... and another (i can't remember the name). potentially, each of them have multiple personalities? hell, to twist it up m. night shyamalan-style, each could have a personality of one of their sisters, and then an entirely different personality. jessica just coulda been an alt, and never known it lol.
Spoiler:
She did have more personalities than just Jessica; she also had Gina.

Spoiler:
was wondering the same thing. i was also wondering if perhaps sylar ended up marrying (or taking care of as a last request?) claire in the event Noah I died, prior to Claire going mega-Bitch.
Spoiler:
If Sylar is really a Petrelli, that would make him Claire's uncle. And little Noah referred to Peter as uncle in the future, so even if they really aren't brothers, they believe they are, and I doubt that is the type of line the writers would cross.

Spoiler:
I can. Present-day version...no. I dislike the "Quicksilver" hairstyle. Future business-secret-agent-mommy version? Hell yes. Stine and I were having fun discussing *cough* certain aspects of her marriage with Parkman, and the consequences thereof.

She's no Kristen Bell though :D
I like the present day style better personally.

Spoiler:
Also who the fuck is little Noah's mom?
I really want to know the answer to that, too!!
Spoiler:
I would be that she's blonde, though. It'd be weird if it was Elle. Definately not Claire or Daphne or Tracey. Can't think of any other blondes we've met yet. And it was 4 years in the future. That kid was at least 3.

catching up on this thread I cant help but picture Stine telling Tristam...Preview Button feature keeps you from screwing up spoiler tags :P
QFT :irked:

You are talking about Sylar getting Tracy's ability. If he did she wouldn't be around. She would have died. She can't survive her head being cut open but Claire can. He didn't forget his abilities to begin with. The company injected him with the virus. When he injected himself with Mohinder's cure he recovered all of his prior abilities.
You need to remember that he had freezing powers in the future that was changed. So her dieing isn't necessarily true, as that future is no more. So her being alive now isn't saying much that he couldn't have gotten it from her in the future last season.

Anyway, that's neither here nor there. I gotta say, I'm quite enjoying this season so far. Anyone else keep hearing Parkman's name as "Batman" or "Pacman" every time the African guy says it?

Actually he had the freezing powers when he went after Molly in Season 1. He has had them for quite some time. How he got them we don't know but I am sure it was someone he killed that we haven't seen and never will see.

Sylar's freezing ability first appeared in this episode:

Don't Look Back

Both of you forget he forgot all of his powers at the end of season 1 though, so he had to reaquire it somewhere :p

Anyway, I hate how they've just discarded the hottest girl in the show though -.- They need to give Kirsten Bell more screentime.

Once again I will tell you he didn't forget his powers. He lost them through the company injecting him with the Shanti Virus. He recovered all of them when he injected himself with the cure. He never forgot them he even tried using them but he couldn't.

oh, damn >.< you're right. Heroes takes too long breaks, forgot about the cure/injection thing =/

To add:
Spoiler:
Also let's not forget that although it was four years into the future, Sylar still had Ted's ability and went nuclear, which further proves he retained his abilities from season one. I don't believe he'd acquire that ability again from someone else, if anyone else even had it.

Spoiler:
I still don't completely understand that about future Peter though. I mean in season one he couldn't heal when the glass went through his head but once it was pulled out boom he healed. Why wouldn't it just kick in once the Haitian moved away from him.
Spoiler:
Maybe the bullet was in the back of his head too or they put something in the back of his head while the Haitian was there.

His name is Tristam Green.
 At least someone listens to me. XD

Spoiler:
I guess Nathan isn't going to try to fix things with his wife. lol

I also heard Barbara when the doctor was talking about the triplets. I'm guessing the company planned this like they did for Nikki + DL to get married.

I'm thinking Daphne's employer is a company that separated from the main company and makes the serum that gives people powers. It looks like part of this gets answered in the next episode.

Spoiler:
Next episode should be good and answer some questions. It looks like the triplets were not the only ones to be created with powers. Angela is shown talking to Nathan and it is mentioned they were also (am assuming she is talking about Sylar, Nathan and Peter)

Also next episode is when Papa Petrelli comes back into the mix. I am thinking he must be powerful with whatever ability he has to hide from detection. With Angela being able to dream the future you would think she would have picked up on him somewhere in there. When he says hello to her she seems completely surprised.

After reading some upcoming spoilers on the show I am really trying to figure things out. Do not read unless you want the future episodes spoiled.

Spoiler:
The Shanti Virus did strip Sylar of all of the abilities he gained except for his first ability he took Telekenisis. We will find out more about why he didn't lose this one. I just don't understand how he still had Ted's nuclear ability in the future if he lost them all.

How reliable is that "spoiler," really?

Spoiler:
He got them all back when he injected himself with the cure. That's how he was able to get away from Elle. I think the virus just made them temporarily unusable. The Haitian had the virus and he got his power back. right?

WOW

That's about all I can say for this most recent episode.
Spoiler:
Though I guess the whole thing was a dream for Ms. Petrelli. Since next week Peter and Gabriel fight each other while Nathan and Tracy seem to still be alive.

Freaked me the hell out for a few minutes there.

Spoiler:
Yeah, I thought she was dreaming while that sequence was going on. WTF did Papa Petrelli do? I'm interested to know what happened to him that put him in that bed.

And WTF Hiro?!?!?!
