Since Naruto and Bleach have one, why not Heroes?

Did anyone else catch 'String Theory' last night?

All around it was a good episode and clearly got some inspiration from the Marvel Days of Future Past arcs. Personally, I'm still very interested in how Claire is not able to heal herself from Syler cutting her head off, and yet Peter was able to do it just an episode before.

I have a theory that Peter can amplify anyones power to an exponential point. Considering the whole current arc is about Peter exploding, he obviously gets the power from Ted. We saw Ted try to explode the Bennet home without any success, he just melted a whole lot of crap (and Claire).

What do you guys think?

Peter didn't regen his brain, only his skull and skin around it. Sylar either eats or removes to inspect the brains of everyone of his victims. My guess is that after your brain is removed, you can't regen anymore.

I think Ted could really go full out nuke, but he never really had the chance with Claire stopping him. Perhaps the reaction takes a lot longer than Ted had.

I really like the new future arc, I really would love to see the Sylar/Peter fight in the future. It would be epic, but I'm not sure why Peter doesn't just use Hiro's power to stop time himself and kill Sylar and destroy every last bit of his remains.

I'd say my favorite part of the story so far has been that all the characters' stories are so interwoven. The family tree of the Petrelli's alone is amazing. I can't wait to see more of how the story of what happens with past Ted/Parkman and the whole exploding man scene.

I don’t think that he so much as amplifies others powers. I think it’s exactly as Mohinder said, Peter is like a sponge, and he absorbs the powers of those who he comes in contact with. I do also think there is one person who’s powers that Peter could not absorb the Haitian’s powers. On a different note why is it that Parkman didn’t seem to know or possibly not care that Sylar had taken the place of Nathan as President.

I'd imagine that Sylar also has mental barriers due to his absorbed psionic abilities.

I loved the offscreen Fire vs Ice fight between those two. You know they are the only ones powerful enough to stop each other. It's obvious Peter got close to Claire's mom before this encounter and Sylar killed Iceman on his way there. lol

Peter can outperform the person he gets his powers from and fast. I think that the reason Peter explodes is because of everyone being togheter at the same place, like a power overload. I already have the solution to Peter's b00m problem. When he is about to explode, he starts flying up as fast as he can and KA-BOOM in the sky. If he passes out there is nothing to worry because he can survive:

1 - The burns and pressure of reentry (if he flyes that high even though it's not necessary).

2 - The impact of the landing

I really wanted Nathan to be the one to catch him in mid air. Because that would show he still cares for his brother and they still have strong bonds after all they have been through. I doubt that will happen after yesterdays episode. Where is Nathan???

; ;

In present time I don't think Peter has realize that he *has* the power. He saw someone stop time, but he doesn't know who or what. He has yet to meet Present Hiro.

As for Sylar, I think if you watch the trailer for the next episode you'll have your answer. One quick flash shows Hiro coming up on Sylar with his sword, presumably having frozen time. Then Syler, who is perfectly still in mid-motion, moved his eyeball.

It's impossible to know what powers each of them have because Sylar killed at least a few people before the Corperation caught him and Peter could pick up something from just wandering next to someone.

well, doesn't Peter technically have all the powers that Sylar have, aswell? So whatever powers Sylar gathered before he was captured, Peter should have too. So technically, Peter should have super hearing and fast learning, too, no?

Either way, last episode rocked. I so hope we'll get to see that epic fight between Sylar and Peter in the future.

What do y'all think the little girl's power is gonna be?

Quite obviously it will be an anti-power power, like the bald kid in XMen 3. I mean, they already stole 99% of the abilities and evolution idea from XMen.

I think that the present Hiro won't be able to stab Sylar right away but will get a "killing" blow in, only for him to come back a bit later and duke it out with Peter in an epic finale.

which little girl? Matt's kid?

The little girl in the trailer for episode 21. I hope to god they don't make her powers Franklin Richards like. I would rather have her shoot plants out of her mouth than have a child that can make real anything in her mind.

Hiro has really big cojones for going alone against Sylar. Only Peter has survived an encounter with him after he got his "saw finger". D=

The one they show on the trailer for next episode. And you don't really know if Hiro is alone with Sylar, it's a pretty close camera angle, you can't really see if anyone else is behind him or something. I could be wrong tho, was something said about him being alone with him? Im usually working on schoolwork when I'm watching tv ><

He can be with Ando, but against Sylar that's like being alone.

Aww lol I like Ando. You have to admit he's come a long way. Maybe we'll see something heroic out of him before the end. ^^

Yea I LOVE Ando too, that's why I didn't like what's in store for him in the future... ; ;

ps. I hope Hiro can change it.

I always forget to watch Heroes T.T just like I forget about How I Met Your Mother and other stuff. Hiro's the best character <3

why not just go back in time and kill sylar before he gets any of these powers.... or maybe while he is an infant..... I guess we wouldn't have this TV show then.

I don't think it will be anti-power...that's the Haitian, remember?
and srsly, last night's episode was just...SOOOOO X-men. Fire vs. Ice, too, and the popping up of the "mutants." And the trying to come up with a cure.

I wish it wasn't so X-Menny, X-Men is X-men, we don't need another--I want Heroes to be as unique as it can be. I <3 this show!!

My few comments on last night's episode:
DARN IT FOR CAUSING ME TO NOT DO MY HOMEWORK UNTIL 9PM!!!!!

And holy crap what a neat episode ;; I screamed when "Nathan" started killing Claire. It's like "OMG EVIL DADDY!!! owait...............OMG SYLAR."

DIE SYLAR DIE DIE!

Y'know how it was asking how will Sylar die?
I have the answer...

I kill him.
The End :D

I wouldn't put that out of your mind yet, seeing as she was drawing on a piece of paper. Maybe she can 'draw' things into existance. Maybe Isaac's illigitimate child we didn't know about UNTIL NOW!?

Though, Heroes always has a way of grounding characters. Even Peter and Sylar, who could be blown way out of preportion, are still grounded and human-like. This is a character based drama with some very interesting twists, but still a character based drama. It's like what X-Men 3 should've been.
