Heroes storyline discussion

i dunno about that but kensai is probably a relative of hiros family.

Perhaps.. but when George Takei's character was staring into the sword it looked like a younger dood in there staring back.. it must be Kensai. Though it works both ways, either as Kensai staring back at his family, or Kensai (younger version of Hiro's father) looking back and his older self.

I think Hiro's dad is immortal. Generations seems to focus on the fact that the Heroes are starting families, getting married, and having super powered children. ;o

haha, I TOLD you we'd see Claire jump out of a building xD

And I don't think Hiro's father is Kensei or w/e his name it, I elieve he's a decendant of him. Remember that he did say earlier "I've been waiting for this day to come. I didn't expect you to be the one carrying on the family bloodline" or whatever. While that could mean he's had many families with kids that lack powers, I'm guessing it means he's a decendant of him. Remember, he did cut his heart out for the woman he loved. So it might be that she was pregnant, and her son also had powers and kept the generation alive.

Either way, this season is called "Generations", so we can't be sure its actually about the future and what happened after the explosion. But rather, it could be about the past, and the past generations. They've built up for a "prelude" the whole season. Slowly revealing the conspiration between the earlier generations, the company with Linderman as head, the Kensei sign and its connection between Linderman and the Heroes, Peter's "vision" from the dieing father (didn't I tell you she'd have powers? xD), and Hiro's travel back to 17th century Japan.

Although it could very well be a combination of past and future. But that wouldn't make for a very godo season, I think, sicne it'd be too much time jumping, and there's only so many different storylines you can involve in any one season.

I'm interested in this new bad guy Molly talked about:

"When I look for him... *6th Sense Voice* he can see me."

It might be the past generations version of Sylar. Maybe a Slyar team up! Ooh, wouldn't that be amazing.

I bet he, like, works like a "mirror". Any power used against him will be used against themselves, or he can use any power directed towards him, on the person that used it... or something. But that wouldn't be all that powerfull. He'd be rather weak if you don't use your powers, unless he was very good with martial arts or something. But then you could just shoot him =/

my friend today at lunch had a really weird theory about Sylar. At the end when they showed the blood and the sewer open a cock roach was on the ground. His theory was that Sylar turned into the cock roach. He also said that in past episodes there have been cock roaches.

well if you remember the beginning, Mohinder said "God could be a cock roach" or something like that.. about God being a cock roach or cock roaches being made in the image of them.. but that'd be an interesting power if that was his. After all, remmeber when he went after the woman with GREAT hearing's powers? "You didn't leave any foot steps" ... I wonder what that meant? Cause I didn't think he could fly yet.

My friend finds it interesting how much Matt relates to the character in Sin City. Both getting screwed by fate, both trying so hard to do what's right, both saving a little girl from trouble. :P

well that guy from sin city also went to jail for 20 years and took cold showers
(i always think to my self how the hell he did that lmao)

I am still not convinced Sylar could turn into an animal, cause the sewer was open so he obviously went down there as a human. Maybe the cock roach was the new villain molly was talking about and when Mohinder was talking about everything being made in gods image and cock roaches it was foreshadowing the fact that this new bastard can become a cock roach. My theory is that this guy has been watching everything that has been happening and next season hes going to see Sylar dying in the sewers and revive him. Holy crapola that would be sick!!

Yea, this "mess" our characters are in is a thing that has been brewing since god knows when. They all have been moved like pawns in this. I think it's time they found out what is going on, that will help them for the big problem in the future. Maybe Hiro won't be so lonely in his travels thru the timestream, Peter can pop anywhere anytime too (lolhischeappowers). So maybe they will cross paths there.

Right now what I want to know is: Who is the person Molly can't find, the person worse than the boogieman, the one that can look back at her??? He's got to have really big/dark psy powers. D=

Slyar didn't turn into an animal. The cockroach was there as it was in a past episode where one of Bennet's lackys says: "I gave him enough tranquilizers to kill him." A cockroach was there too. It's to illude to the fact that Sylar is still very much alive (as if they trail of blood leading to his escape wasn't enough).

Personally, the writers better think of some really different things for Sylar to do or for him to uncover something. Eventually he will be so strong that it'll destroy the shows balance. Slyar also has more powers than we know about, I think his death count is up to at least 15-20 and we only know about half the people he took powers from.

I thought about him being a cockroach too. However, the "no footsteps" part etc. could simply be him using telekinesis on himself to fly, if that is possible.

There is still the slight problem of how he can dissapear and reapear. Like the first time he went in to the police station to get Molly. How did he get in there? And how did he dissapear so fast?

the cock roach is far more than just relating to Sylar :P and has been around a lot more than that one scene. In fact.. I think there's been at least a cock roach once every episode XD same with that S symbol (the one on Hiro's sword) which is the combination of those two Japanese symbols :P this show is such a great show. There's sooo much depth to it. It amazes me it is popular D: usually shallow shows are popular and shows with depth aren't.

Wouldn't be the first time a power was retconned at a later date!

Jean Grey/Rachel/Cable fly that way. Maybe Sylar can turn into Mist, he already has Iceman's powers (as seen when he broke Hiro's Sword) that means he has more powers (taken off camera) than even we know about.

that wasn't Iceman's powers exactly.. it was Zane's powers where they could take metal and well.. did something to it... at least, I'm fairly sure that wasn't quite iceman power-ish but mighta been.. hmm

when hiro took the sword to get fixed and the sword smith asked what happened he said "it got cold, then broke".

i still dont get why peter didnt fly up into the sky by himself instead of letting his brother commit suicide doing something he can do on his own.

I don't think I would be able to fly by myself if i was going all nuclear. It seemed like he had no control overhimself.

ya, I don't think he could control himself.. though I'm not so sure if he can use two powers at the same time.. at least at this point. I think.. hmm

What I really wanna know, since Peter can absorb powers just by being around them (proof being with the nuclear powers).. why wasn't he having trouble with hearing cause of being around Sylar who now had super sensitive hearing XD
