Hello all,

Don't shoot me please! I am from another server, Titan to be exact.
I've been playing FF since the EU release and am now looking for options to migrate to another server that has a higher maturity among players then Titan.

I've been lurking around a whee bit on QCDN and Quetz does seem like one server with a more mature playerbase then Titan has.

Please tell me a bit about quetz.

I dunno how much EU we have on this server, but it's got a lot of good people. I mean, we have our fair share of bad eggs like anyone else but for the most part it's not bad. It's like anything else. Surround yourself with the right people and you'll never go wrong.

My own personal posse of friends has left Quetz (not all, but most of those I was close to) so I can not really say how people are anymore. Well the fact that most people I knew are gone and I have been away for almost a year.

Still from what I remember most of the time you got help if you stood around and shouted in jeuno long enough. This means people were nice enough (hell sometimes I was helped by jps). And as long as you were not a moron I don't seem to remember many complaints from anyone. Though I can think of a few individuals that caused quite a bit of drama, beyound them there never seemed to be much trouble. Word generally travels fast around quetz so as long as you make a good reputation for yourself there shouldn't be any problems.

lol that statement is about as true as it gets. Reputation is quite a bit in FFXI because it's a game so dependant upon friends and groups.

When you used to do dynamis, which shell did you run with? Your old char name is silly familiar XD

Quetz has good people but as an EU player I had to get away. I was sick of not having to stay up late to get things done. I moved to Asura, and i've not regretted it one bit. I mean sure I miss some people but that's what POL messages are for (except Kotsu as he's not online ever). If you are an EU player who stays up late then Quetz is cool. However I like my new ability to go to bed at a reasonable time but still be able to do all the things in game I enjoy.
