I think I posted once already in the merge thread but in between campaign battles(I'm recapping whm at the moment; Rough dyn last night. One of those beaucs where we get charmed 3 times in the last 2-3 minutes and I go splat twice, along with a rdm or two. We did get a LOT of drops though.) I thought I'd better make a formal introduction. ^^
Chara stuff:
Windy Mithra(Rank 10), 75 WHM(main and full merits), SMN(full merits), and BLM (BLM not really merited yet; only halfway to capping xp on it) Have all subs avail that are good for those jobs.
Linkshells I'm likely to be on(currently): CurseTheYagudo, ShikgamiWeapon, (occasionally) JingZen, My dyn shell currently is Howitzer, and my limbus (which I'm a lead/sack in) is OmegaJenova.
Craftskills: 96 cooking + hat and apron, have the no hq ring, also have all key items but Stewpot Mastery (Eeek, who wants AoE melee food?) 56 alchemy, 28 fishing, 28 bonecraft, 21 woodworking. Been working on a lu sporadically since I have pld friends and I've been having a hard time getting fish for tav tacos. (Unless I can get a steady supply of the fish, sorry; I only do those for friends. Too much hassle getting the mats.)
Yes I'm a (OMG!!) RL girl. I share the FFXI account with my brother, Shadowneko. (he doesn't play as often as me tho since he works full time at a very crappy job. Phone tech support, EWWW!)
If you can say anything about me; Well, let me quote a RDM friend of mine, Karlinn:
"Omg Elizara, you're the helpfullest kittycat ever!"
..He meant it :biggrin: If I'm not busy, and if someone needs help, I'll come and help out, and I <3 helping newbies out. There's a reason my motto in game is "Never forget where you have been!" though; I'm one of the few former PS2/PC beta players still playing. I had to start all over in retail, luckily I didn't get further than 25 whm with a very gimpy sub in beta. (The only thing I won't do is PL, especially since level sync; Ask me to PL and you will get a big fat no. But if you're willing to let me mule for semi-cap gear I MIGHT join a sync party tho I prefer to do that with friends.) I've been known to go wierd places to raise friends, even Sea! Just don't ask me to do that please if you don't know me. *smile*
I also tend to be a big yackker, I think you can tell. I also have written several FFXI fics, right now my webpage is down right now where they'd be because of some server provider snafus :facepalm:...I'll have it restored I hope by the end of the week if Murphy doesn't bite my can again.
Also, speaking of that website, I was hosting Shadowneko's Newbie Guide before the domain/server went screwywompus, which you can find on gamefaqs if you look. He's my RL brother after all
I'm also excited and apprehensive about the bombs Square dropped recently. I don't look forward to leveling nin again (it's at 37 and is my whm campaign/melee something really tough sub) since I got rid of the gear
Prolly gonna do rdm (37) and scholar (41) first. I was considering doing SCH to 75 next but with the level cap increase, that's out the window. The plan now is my first 99 will be my main if I keep playing that long.
If my dreams in RL finally come true, I'm hoping to be a nurse, if that says anything. I've had a lot of bad things happen in RL (don't ask), but I'm not gonna let that stop me in the end.
Also if anyone knows of a ZNM shell in EU time, let me know. I've been wanting to get serious about that for a while, but the limit is I only can play in the evening about 2-3 days a week most time since my brother has stuff(dyn, a static) or wants to do stuff like farm three or four nights a week. I can play most of the day however. ^^
I'm also a sucker for a good magical girls anime, tho I like other stuff too.
Anyhoo, I hope that when the server merge happens, we'll all get along. Seriously.
