I'm back after a few year's off. I was Tuku back in the day. Here's Squeenix's hypothesis as to what happened. When I let my account go inactive, someone managed to steal my password at some point, sell my character, and someone bought it. From what I could gather from the registration process, that person had moved servers and changed names. The good news is it appears that person quit playing back in september of '09, so I had no difficulty in getting back my character. I actually came back with more than I left with. This person took my clothcraft from 90 to 98, leveled my RDM and SAM to 75, got everything I ever wanted from sky, a few pieces of relic, and a myriad of other cool things.
I've been back in for about a month or so now, and I'm finally getting used to playing again. My only problem so far has been, having come in the day of the world merge completing, I joined a couple of endgame shells that dissolved almost immediately. Since no one I used to play with really plays anymore, I'm finding it quite difficult to find a decent shell. You'd think it would be simple enough with well geared BRD, MNK, BST, RDM, and SAM at 75 lol.
It's good to be back though. Look forward to further shannanigans!
