I quit playing a few years ago or so and I wanted to make sure I'd never come back so i attempted to get myself permanently banned using speed and teleport hacks...all for the sake of disposing any reason to return.

So, I would like to know if my character was in fact permanently banned or if im still out there...so... I would really appreciate it if someone could look up my character on playonline for me...my character's name was Zandra....just like my user name.

the reason im curious again is that i've been living in japan for the past few months and my return to the states is only 2weeks away....i rlly dont want to lose all my opportunities to speak japanese....and i thought back to why i liked japanese in the first place....and i remembered the first time i ever saw it was in ffxi and i wanted to learn to see if the japanese people were in fact talking about me behind my back haha...so ya, no that im far more profficient than i used to pretend to be, im very interested in returning...

Did you get banned when you were playing? Or do you think it was banned in the wave of bans?
 
i only remember going through the first temporary ban...after that ended i came back and tried again for the permanent ban...i never checked to see if it was ever carried out...i just turned off computer when i got sent to gm jail again
 
I think you will get banned once you log on, Since the GM's wont ban you w/o saying anything. That's just what i think tho, Doesn't hurt to log on.
 
thats my question tho. i dont want to go out and buy the game again if my character has been deleted.

Are you still even paying for the account? If not, then your character is more than likely gone. Otherwise, I don't know if anyone can search for your name without you being on their friendlist (I dont really tinker with POL all that much so I could be really wrong here).
 
I think your character is gone, even if you weren't permanently banned. I think they delete your character after 3months of it being inactive. That's why I'm having to start over, because my old character is long gone.
 
i know about the 3month thing, but im pretty sure its just a general guideline...because ive quit for 7months or so a long time ago too and stopped paying but my character was still there.

ehh, its ok. it will probably be better for me to start over or not restart playing at all...im still thinking about it...i enjoy my time with friends to much to lose it all again...especially since im about to go to college too...im prolly not even gonna have time for this

Not that I am encouraging this kind of behavior, but...

When Kingdom Hearts came out I skipped classes for two weeks and did nothing but game, eat, game, sleep, repeat. (There was some more distasteful activity after the eating but I won't mention Count Dooku in polite company.)

HAHA thats some bull they sure will ban you without telling you I still don't even know the reason my original character was banned 8 months ago. I'm waiting for their investigation to get done still.

I was gone for 11 months once so I think you probably have at least a year and even then now they can restore accounts I don't know the time limit but if you have all the info they might be able to.

I thought you got banned for hacking?
