I was told this morning to check out this article by our mortgage broker. It just so happens that 2 days ago we had our credit scores pulled in anticipation of refinancing our mortgage in order to take advantage of the significantly lowered rates. My score was perfectly fine. Carl, on the other hand, had a score that was absolutely in the shitter. The only difference between the two of us was his student loans through Sallie Mae. So for two days we've been trying to figure out why his credit score is so crappy, and why his account with Sallie Mae has been "seriously delinquent" despite the fact that we've made all the payments over the past 4 years on time, plus paying additional towards the principle. So now we have to jump through hoops with Experian in order to correct Sallie Mae's fuckup. Thanks a lot, asswipes.
 
Well Aud, I had to eat my words. I rated up WSM, with the comment "normally when you're trying to be smart you sound really stupid, but when you're being stupid it's funny, so keep it up I guess?". Those cave pics did it for me. My rateup gave him a green dot, for the time being anyway.

For the people who think my job is awesome and completely easy, I've been dealing with my legal department and canadian authorities about a bomb threat that was posted on our forum. Some people are all talk but after the church burning earlier in the year when an IP matches this closely to the area they mention they are targetting we have to follow it up... I don't understand what drives people sometimes..

I'm not a person who thinks your job is easy, but I read anyway...that's pretty nuts that that happened...hope everything works out
 
Well he signed up for a contest last year so we have that address and his name (which matches the name he signed up his account with). The authorities know all of this now so hopefully they will go pay our friend a visit. The sad thing is that if his provided birthday is also correct, he's only 15.
