TEN DAYS TO THE BEACH! I'm super excited, especially after my little warm-up vacation to Chincoteague and Ocean City this past weekend. I just hope it's going to be more than me, Osse, and Jamal there. >_>
 
Yea, I wish more were coming too, but it'll be nice to see you two and the kids again.
 
I'm going to Pensacola this weekend, to see my brother... the last time I saw him was about 8 years ago. <_<

Then the weekend you guys are at the beach, it's CRUISE TIME! :D

Dispatcher: Trapped? Is someone holding you there?

Caller: Someone? No. But there is a frog on the front porch.

Dispatcher: A frog?

Caller: Yes. A frog.

Dispatcher: Okay, but what is preventing you from leaving the house?

Caller: I told you, there's a frog on the porch and I'm afraid of frogs.

Dispatcher: And you don't have another door to the house?

Caller: No. There's only one door and I can't get out of the house with the frog sitting there.

Dispatcher: Why don't you take a broom and sweep the frog off the porch?

Caller: I can't do that. I told you. I'm afraid of frogs. He might get me.

Dispatcher: Um... I'm not sure I can help you with this....

If I can get my scanner to work, I'm going to scan the paper and make one of those cheesy black rimmed images of it. At the bottom I'll say "Frogs. They'll get you."

Osse / Fell, not sure if you two have been paying attention to the fires in coastal North Carolina. Depending the wind flow, it's been pushing smoke right up the coast. On days after a rain, it's really pretty miserable outside, so you may want to have a backup plan for at least a day just incase.
 
I'm well aware of it, trust me. ;) Went to Chincoteague/Assateague last weekend and the smoke was horrendous. Last Saturday we didn't see blue sky once until about an hour before sunset. Actually I think a lot of the smoke last weekend (for us in VA anyway) was the one in Dismal Swamp, which is only about 30 minutes from Norfolk/VB. That one seems to be mostly contained now, though. All we can really do is hope the wind isn't coming from the south, heh.
 
Yea, as do I. I thought everything was contained as well, but we had a big rain last night, and this morning it was just awful. It's mostly cleared up now (just got back from lunch), but the air this morning was pretty bad.
 
Rappa, I should rate you down for congratulating Orinna. Not only because its Orinna, but she's also in JDA. -_-
