Hidden Forums again?

This is what I've been getting from a lot of people to be honest. That's why I'm hoping we can reinstate that.
 
Hidden LS forums are awesome, but maybe there should be a rule of like. 15+20 active people in a LS to obtain one? And deactivate ones that don't have a legitimate post in them after 2/3 months? If space/bandwidth start suffering?

This is going to be hard to check up on. Maybe just base it on your second point (post count / frequency).

yeah, post count and date would pretty much determine all that. and normally it'll be the same few people trying to keep it a float if it isn't doing too good. Lots of us had that problem with the older system.
 
What about something similar to premium members?
For a small, maybe yearly fee, a group can have a private board. Otherwise they can have a social group.
Although I'm not exactly sure what benefits a board has over a social group.

the ability to look like a regular section of a board, the usergroups look and feel different. I liked coming here and seeing the "Bigfun" Section and being able to post there just like anywhere else on the board
