Reeve mentioned it before and there is a notice about it now, but just so no one feels like they are blind sided I just wanted to make this announcement.

We are going to be deleting usergroups and forums with dead forums on them. They do take up the forums resources and this is part of the "Clean QCDN2008" initiative that we've been taking on. I do have access to the hidden forums and I will be contacting the usergroup leaders regarding them very soon.

Oi, why I clicked close is beyond me. Must be habit. >.o

Unlocked if there are any questions.

When they are deleted does your post count go down?

Example: User1 has 247 posts in a private ls forum. Does User1's PC drop by 247?

say goodbye to cmdrflys high post count...lol

Miros,
I cannot find the part that sais posts in private forums do not add to postcounts anymore.

:awesome:

Since I found out how to make it so hidden forums don't count for post counts at all, the forums that aren't purged will be reverted to that.

Forums will be deleted tomorrow night when I return home.

Most were purged. Went from around 80 something to 35. Should free up some space for us! =)

We have limited space?

Very. I figured, with the vast amount of abandoned geocities, anglefire, and homestead websites out there our humble little corner wouldn't take up as much room as you're letting on.

It's just another lie I've concocted. Did you know I also helped the CIA kill Kennedy!
