highest damage

2600 ish on a Leech in Pashow Marshlands <Sidewinder>

Can't remember if that is the mob or not. I know I made a squishy
leech puddle before. I can't remember the damage either but it was
below 2700 and above 2600
 
880+ SATA+VB on a Dire Bat in KRT.
1293 SA+DE on a Yagudo Chanter.
 
I've done more, but I did 1335 damage with a Spinning Slash on an IT Tormentor in my last xp pt. I should play with the hound sometime and see what I can do to him. :lol:
 
1300+(1387 max) MBs in Den of Rancor with Aeroga III (level 67)
1546 Freeze MB at level 50 in Quicksand Caves on those Antican things.

Tarutaru BLM all INT gear(+27INT) with Melon pies.(level 67 set up, dont remember 50 set up)
 
Mine is f'n 999 with Vorpal Blade on that NM Orc at the guard tower in Lufaise Meadows you hafta kill for that knight quest. I know it was 999 bc I was trying to break 1000 all damn night and ended up accidentally popping that thing after I had 300 TP and hit berserk and went for it. Stupid damn 999 *grumble* Something about a Paladin doing over 1k damage makes me smile.

1,642 Raging Rush at lv62 on Tribunus VII-I (lv68)... just Sunday actually, when we went to get Swishiee his Tungi.

Honorable mention to the taru RDM Galix, for managing to keep hate through it and right to the end of the fight.

Flare? That must have been it. That NM is fun for a blm to help kill. I didn't have Flare to cast against it, but I helped with this mob shortly after I got Fire III. We had a brd in the group using etudeX2 and fire threadony as well. The mages (myself included) were getting near 1k damage on just regular Fire III, no MB. The PLD had trouble keeping hate even with Invincible, lol.

My highest damage ever is still from the brief time I was MBing Freeze in the low 50's for about 1200-1400 depending on mob and whether or not we had a BRD.

Thundaga3, or Firaga 3 cant remmber it was a higher lvl spell. I think it was a fire spell not too sure, was 1 yr ago
 
1,5(unsure of last two digits) Guillotine off a raptor, been a while was leveling 60-61 range in Valley of Sorrow. Versiontwo can attest, that is if he remembers at all. XD

Yeah, WHY are SMNs used as main healers again?

Because SMN can't equip the high damage Staffs, and lack STR, which is one of the dmg bonus increasing attributes of Full Swing.

Mish most likely did this with a Primate Pole/Kinkobo and at 300% TP to a too weak.

Fullswing has no damage modifier outside of attributes at only 100% TP. So yeah, thats why SMNs aren't meleeing. Can't use the big kid staves, and it takes 300% for Full Swing to be destructive.
 
as RNG/NIN in bibiki bay (sp?) i did 2,211 to IT cow with Obow + sushi when it was berzerk. i guess i could use Hellfire+1 + Curry and do near 3k on IT

Couple days ago in Bostaunieux Oubliette fighting the Sewer Syrup for someone's Jelly Ring I bursted Thundaga III for 3913, on Lightningsday ^^
