His tears don't cure cancer anymore.

lol, funny. Wonder what made him change his mind about these "Facts" cause he came off as finding them funny and not having a problem with them before like.. months ago when he appeared on some TV program.

awesome lmfao I read through that list of facts about him on the link...I dont blame him, started as a game then became just a little out of control

Spoiler:
Chuck Norris is currently in a legal battle with the makers of Bubble Tape. Norris claims "6 Feet of Fun" is actually the trademark for his penis.

Chuck Norris once had an erection while lying face down and struck oil.

Pinatas were made in an attempt to get Chuck Norris to stop kicking the people of Mexico. Sadly this backfired, as all it has resulted in is Chuck Norris now looking for candy after he kicks his victims.

Mr. T once defeated Chuck Norris in a game of Tic-Tac-Toe. In retaliation, Chuck Norris invented racism.

...yeah lmfao, funny as hell but still wrong

despite the fact that i find the chuck norris facts hilarious i think that they are a sad sign of our society that he is sueing over them. In all honesty he probably though that they were funny but then since he became Huckabee's spokesperson and actually using the huck facts in one of the commercials Huckabee is by proxy endorsing all of the statements that may occur in the posts...

So i dont think that this is something that he is mad about buti think that this is something that Huckabee asked him to address to make him look better and show that he does not endorse such actions.

Seems like political positioning to me.

Um, if it weren't for the lolChuckNorris facts he'd be nothing. Well, nothing-er 'cause people don't pay much attention to him as it is. :P

Just fucking read it, it says.

He's sueing because they made a commercial product off his likeness and name without authorization.

I don't remember reading that in there exactly, I read something about "saying things which may be racist" or the whatnot.

I bought the book, Its awesome.

What kinda person has a fit about fiction. Just cause a website says it's "Facts" doesn't mean anything. The most those people can whine about is that that website is full of Libel info.

You're saying they aren't true!?

I can't find the article now, but the news I read about this indicated that the author of this book has asked Chuck Norris' permission to publish the book, Chuck said no, and the guy went ahead and did it anyway. Also there's a big difference between running a website with jokes related to a person's identity, and actually publishing a book to make money off a person's identity without their express permission.

QFT. I've seen this story on a bunch of forums over the last few days. It's one thing to make the jokes, but to try and make money off someone without their permission...

It's a concept a lot of people don't seem to get @_@

"Defendants have misappropriated and exploited Mr. Norris's name and likeness without authorization for their own commercial profit," said the lawsuit.
