I have been watching the trailers for this upcoming movie due out in a few weeks. The game drew me in immediately, I mean you get to walk around as a bald guy with a pimp suit and strangle people with fiber wire?!? Awesome... You can catch the trailer on youtube and here is the link to it,

Now the debate for the longest time has been whether or not Jason Statham would have made a better Hitman. The actor the producers chose was Timothy Olyphant that has appeared in Live Free or Die Hard and the series Deadwood. Initially I was a little put off as well that Olyphant was the winner of the role but after seeing the trailer he actually makes a decent fit for the role. Many people have disputed that 47 looks much older than what Olyphant can bring to the table but in reality Olyphant is 39 whereas fans of the series would say that 47 is in his late 40's.

Anwyays I am pretty amped about seeing this movie and I believe it is being released on Nov. 21st. I am just curious to see who wants to see this and what your opinions of the trailer are.

To be honest, the only fault I can see with Olyphant is that his voice isn't right for the character, he needs to be a bit more gruff.

Jason Statham, although though this would be his typical role, wouldn't fit the character as well. He's not too good at accents, and as we all know, 47 isn't English... It might ruin it even more.

I agree with the voice part Blabj and at the same time I cannot think of anyone else who would fit the role of capturing 47 vocally and physically. Olyphant has the look except for not having the pale blue eyes and no eyebrows, but minor details that are left to the die hard fans as to whether they can overlook something like that. In any case I am curious about the interpretation the movie will provide. Tomb Raider sucked ass in all honesty and I hope the producers don't bungle the movie.

My biggest concern for the movie is that it's going to be rated PG-13. Honestly, in a movie where the main character is an assassin, I can't see a decent script being anything other than R.

Jason Statham would have made the movie worth watching.
