Hm..FFXI...Xbox 360..

You might notice this is NOT in the flameboard. Which means I don't want to get flamed. Please keep your oppinions to yourself if they consist of "YOUS ARE TEH HAXORZ". Ok, I'm sure some of you remember me, and its great to be back, but sort of, not back.. Thing is, I just traded in my old PS2 for a new slim PS2 which means bye, bye FFXI for me at least til x-mas. My PC is good but not good enough to play FFXI on it so I was a "PS2bie" and now that I'm broke with that I must move to the Xbox 360. I used to be an Xbox hater. Supported only Nintendo and Sony but now Microsoft has come into my vision.

Once I saw FFXI on the Xbox 360 I though, Square-Enix is dumb..then slapped myself because I realised how much I freakin miss FFXI and realised this is an awsome chance for me to comeback and also play some other cool games which I have found on the X360. Just wanted to here some opinions on this..except for what I have stated above. Basically this is a really really desperate FFXI fan wanting his FFXI playtime and hours and hours of adventuring back.

I don't see how it's dumb at all - I fully support it. They can sell the game to the console gamer at an affordable price (probably $40 or less, since it doesn't have to come bundled with a HDD) and as much as people like to complain about the Xbox player base, I think the 360 is going to be much more 'casual-friendly' and will likely bring about the kind of people Square wants.

Besides, another low-level player infusion = another market crash on crystals and crafting supplies = massive profits for those who can predict and follow the wave.

the xbox 360 is coming out novemberish, ffxi for xbox 360 isnt slated til 2006-2007 last I heard
