Well, my PS2 is no longer running FFXII. When I put in the disc, it gets to the "Playstation" Screen, and after that, it freezes. White lines then flicker on the screen a couple times, (like old crappy VHS tapes would). Now I am also hearing faint scratching noises...

Now the kicker, however, is that my PS2 runs the FFXII:CE bonus disc just fine, and also runs Tiger Woods 2k7 just fine.

Thoughts? Advice? Comments? Random shit?

Fairly sure, Ele. I played it Sunday morning in Myrtle Beach just fine. Sunday night when I get home (After the car ride) It's not okay. The disc was in the FFXII case the whole time.

hmm.. did you take your PS2 with you to that place? cause car ride bumpy might have fucked it up? hmm hard to say.. might as well take a look at the back of the disc just incase...might need cleaning?

Yeah, I brought my PS2, obviously if I was playing, lol. Anyways, yeah, I suppose it could have damaged the PS2, I tried canned air-ing the laser and cleaning it out. The disc is not scratched or dusty at all =(.
