According to Mystery Tour theres a new quest in Ru'Lude Gardens called "Beyond the Sun". The name sounds like a Genkai quest name...O.o

Not only that Mystery Tour says the NPC is also Maat...Anyone know what thats all about? X.x
 
Yea, I noticed that also....sure would be cool if they raised the lvl cap to 80. But then again, it would piss off alot of jobs that will be in compatition with other jobs that will have access to certain ablilites/spells on their sub job.
 
I'm thinking that the next logical step in SE's evil plan (indulge me here), is to rearrange the levels at which certain jobs get certain abilities.

I see this as a necessary step to take in order to prevent some job combos from becoming ridiculously overpowered if indeed the "final" level cap is to be raised to 80.

disclaimer: This is all purely fantastic conjecture on my part.
 
They would announce it if they released a new level cap, it wouldn't just be some mysterious quest. :P

As do I. I was just confused seeing the quest until the mention of the cap ^^
 
Hm, I do remember SE specifically said they will not be raising the level cap anytime soon however, I don't remember what part of the site I read it from. (SE's site)
 
I dont think they will be raising the cap soon either, although with the Merits I think you would just keep the ones you have and not be able to obtain anymore untill you did get lvl80.

Also as far as the abilities and spells and what not, if things are lvl 38-40 They would probably just raise those as well - to lvl 41. Also, they could just make a lvl limit on your subjob, but I dont think that will happen. 80RNG/37 NIN just doesnt sound right :P Also what would be cool if SE made new lvl75
Job specific quested Abilities, kind like how they gave THF Assasin. Just something else to keep the high lvls busy. 8)
