Well, tonights game is in Philly. Wait for the Flyers to find a new type of energy from the crowd. We're down our two best defenders, our best one of them most likely until next season.

Either way, it's on tonight sir. It's on.
 
I, will be hammering down a 12'er of Molson and enjoying another Pens win. Booyah.
 
I will be able to tell you how lead tastes if the flyers lose. I'll be eating a bullet because I'm so frustrated with them it's not even funny.

Amen. Look at Anaheim in '03 when they got to the finals before my Devils sent them packing. Giguere was hot as hell that year. I don't care who you are, if you have a hot goalie to ride at the beginning of the playoffs, you have as good a chance as anyone. I couldn't agree more.

Goaltending in playoff hockey is like pitching in MLB playoffs. Without it, you're fucked.

Hours after I posted the prominence of the Pens defense, they stepped up for a game 3 domination.

Their other major strength is that they can get it from anywhere. Wanna rub Malkin out of the game? Don't worry, Malone and Hossa can pick up the slack. And I thought Hossa couldn't score in the playoffs.

P.S. Fuck you ESPN.

Nice. But enjoy it while it lasts as my Red Wings rips your Penguin team apart next round. But honestly I think it will be a good match-up. Both teams have great defense and very talented scorers.

The Datsyuk Zetterberg line vs the Crosby Malkin line. I still will put it in Detroit's favor though because Chris Osgood is on a 9 game winning streak unbeaten still and we all know what can happen when your goalie is hot. But none the less it will be fun.

Update for tonights Dallas Red Wing game, the officials don't know a goal from the hole in their ass. Watch the replay of the goal Holmstrom got on Red Wings power play, they called it no goal saying he was in the crease but all the networks and camera angles show he clearly wasn't. Officials need to get the eyes checked because since that idiot official called it no goal, it means we can't video review it. Enjoy the moron goal Dallas. Now to see what other BS the officials want to call.

That and the Stars first goal the guy that bounced it in with his foot was CLEARLY in the crease and yet they called that a goal. Hm, think the refs might be a bit one sided here? Oh and if I'm mistaken about that crease thing sorry, I was working and training someone tonight so I didn't really watch it like I should have. :|

Well he was in the crease yeah, but the puck bounced off his foot into his shoulder and into the net. More or less a fluke goal but what can ya do ya know? Both sides get em and they say 80% of goals typically look like crap and aren't very fancy.
