Also, don't forget that for 2H stats are 3:4, so the 4 STR/DEX on Askar is also 3 attack/accuracy. That being said, I still use turban/homam feet. The MP on them helps a lot, especially since I'm elvaan. Plus, using askar/aurum, you lose 1% haste from each piece, which is 2% lost.

IF you're too lazy to read they added sword strap to aurum when the stp was too high to give it 3% faster swing speed which is damned powerful when it doesnt fuck with stp.

This made me think of something...

Right now on my Drk/Sam I use Hauberk/Pole Grip but if I were to swap it with Askar/Sword Strap then I would still be able to maintain my 6/5 build.

Do you think it would be worth trading 5 DEX and 10 Acc for 3% Sword Delay (basically 3% Haste) and 2 Att for TPing?

I'm guessing the answer is probably not but I'd like a some opinions.

From when i was asking in the "what's better" thread on bg askar helm is considered better than walmart turban until one reaches 59% haste before you equip the headgear.
However the askar helm must do at least 2 things. 1) add 3+ acc(easy enough) 2) cause an fstr increase.( depending on the weapon DMG this is every 3~8 str approximately.)
it is for this reason that the aruum feet vs homam argument can go differently.
homam vs aurum is
acc+6 3% haste vs 3 dex 5 acc 5 atk 2% haste
acc+6 3% haste 6~7 acc 5 atk 2% haste
1% haste 0~1 acc 5 atk

Now since askars is supposed to only be superior to walmart turban due to BOTH the fstr increase and the acc increase you can then compare the homam vs the aurum again.
5 atk does not give an fstr as far as i know and the name of it implies that i need str to modify it anyway, hence it doesnt give the thing that pulled askar above 1% haste,
0~1 acc isnt really an increase either(unless you break a dex tier).
add all that together and aurum doesnt satisfy either of the criteria that makes askar helm> walmart turban.

Thanks for actually typing something out. Though in the end it still sounds like what I've been saying all along, that askar's only situationally better when it's helping you break a tier in some manner but not a 100% better piece of equip.
