Kay.
I've tried all sorts of things to get this damned ring to work...
It still won't.
Good thing I didn't waste any Conquest Points on it...

Anyway...
How does the Homing Ring work?

^.^;;

If your country owns a region, use the ring and you'll be teleported to the outpost of that region. If your country doesn't own the region or you're in a town or the new areas, it won't do anything. I've never owned one personally so I'm not 100% sure about this.

Wierd...

I used it once right outside of Sandy...In West Ronfaure...
And it went to 7% and stopped casting...
(&& No. I wasn't moving when I used it).

It's been a piece of junk so far...
Wish I could sell it.
>.<

Are you a citizen of San d'Oria? If you aren't, then it won't work, assuming of course Sandy controls the Ronfaure region.

Yes.
I understand what Rappa said.

&& Yes.
I'm a San d'Orian...
We also have control of Ronfaure...

Have you run a supply mission?

I dont think that's it, but its the only reason I can think of for it not to work. I use mine all the time and all the stuff people have already said in this thread is true.

and are you level 20 to use it? ;p

I'm pretty sure you've had to do a supply quest to the outpost first

It can be used at level 1, I reutinely used it to take jobs that were under level 10 out to the north gusta outpost.

What level were you. The Outpost Level Limitations might apply.

The outpost level limitations do not apply. You have to have completed a supply run to that outpost, and your home country has to control it. Those are the only requirements.

And BTW Return Ring > Homing Ring. Sometimes when ya need to get somewhere quick, there is no other option but droping your return ring and getting another. I wasted a couple of homing rings trying to get somewhere fast to help with a NM. So I just keep a return ring on me at all times now. I wish I could have 2.

to wear it is a lv think its 1 :P and the OP is any lv unlke the paid teles from npc where it costs

to shorten this- the homing is not worth the space in you invintory only thing i could see it helping if you are going to go exp in area under your control and you want to use outpost to get home. Though considering alot people dont bother with outpost (cant see why they dont outpost save alot of time and can get anywhere in 5-10 min[home piont port windy ftw]) the ring is usless.

I actually own a return ring AND a homing ring. Its possible to do so. Much better than throwing em away when you need to go somewhere again. I use mine all the time to get back to windy, especially since windy controls all the near jeuno places.

Al Zhabi -> "Jeuno Warp" (usually warps me to a windy controlled area) -> windy.

Also, if you do this- what do you do when you want to get to aht urghan? Do you seek party in Windurst? Usually when i make parties now, I wont even invite people who are seeking in jeuno anymore lol.
