All Worlds Maintenance (Jan. 23)

At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI server maintenance on all Worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

We ask that players who are scheduled to enter Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance wait until it is complete before entering. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

I hope it's to remedy that pesky "I can't exp in Jp prime time" gameplay issue I seem to always have >.>
 
O' hey, gilsellers have nothing left to sell, so maybe
a. They're finally get their butts fried
b. SE is making up crap to repop all the NM/HNMs so sellers can restock? DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNN.
 
For god's sake we haven't had any bad maintenance since well quite a while in my opinion, its 2 hours (ok maybe more) please don't tell me that everyone here doesn't have something else they can be doing?

I have that same problem :D Can't get on until 1am PST and I sit there for 4 hours seeking as rdm. Maybe I just suck...

Oh...just you wait until late February.
 
Yeah but at the end of all the maintenance we will have in February there will be something useful. New Conflict and new Dynamis etc etc. Now for Dragoons to get some decent armour and its all good.

seriously though:
SE has to be getting a cut from IGE or something. I dont know what it is the two companies have worked out, but there is something there.

It is obvious that everything within the game FFXI belongs to SE, the characters, the gil, the items, w/e...its ALL SE's. you can NOT tell me that SE is sitting there, watching IGE sell SE's stuff, and do nothing about it.
Selling online currency/characters/items is a mulit-million dollar business.
If i were a business, there is no way in hell i would watch some other company swoop in and start selling MY product right out from under me.

I meant more like the JSE. Homam gear is my ultimate goal but getting a pretty much full set is damn near impossible lol.
