Not sure if you are all familiar with a Japanese Peripheral Company named Hori, but we will be releasing a Square-Enix licensed Vana'diel Clock.

http://www.hori.ne.jp/ffxi_vdck_us/index.html

This clock reads time in both Earth and Vana'diel time. It also lists the lunar cycle in Vana'diel. Finally, you can set up to 4 alarms or countdown timers in Earth time or Vana'diel time to keep track of things in Vana'diel. Each of the 4 alarms play the BGM from San d'Oria, Bastok, Windurst, and Jeuno. You can get it on pre-order at EB or GameStop. Here are the links:

My god I need this clock!

Actually I probably don't need it....I probably don't even have room for it, but it will be mine!!! :D

Thanks for the positive comments. You won't be sorry. I have one sitting right next to me and its pretty cool. I actually use it as an alarm clock myself.

Will it be possible to order this bad-boy straight from the EB stores or do I have to order it from the site? Being Canadian and all I constantly get rooked into paying 5 billion dollars in shipping charges whenever I order something online

I'm not sure how they do it in Canada, but I know in the US you can go to the brick and mortar stores to pre-order it. Let me know how that goes.

must.... own.... that.... *faints*

Hehe. I didn't look at this thread before, but then I clicked a link at the EB website and I saw it and though "Whoa. Cool." Might end up getting it at some point, but it's not at the top of my list.

I'm noticing it doesn't tell what element the day is... /cry.

There's a handful of web-based clock sites. I think the stand-alone clock is really cool (a bit pricey - but still cool).

What I REALLY want is a clock that I can run on my Palm PDA. That way wherever I am I can lookup upcomming events like full moon, ship departure schedules, RSE quest weeks, etc. and then have it set calendar events in the scheduler to remind me. This way the clock is always with me (my PDA is builtin to my phone, so it's always with me).

It has the day on it...and the day name is the element...
