After nearly every thf that posts here suggested it as the prime off-hand weapon, I went to kill some Wespe's for the pop items (bee larva). (I don't know what smoke I was cracking to not think of it, I could have sworn it's base damage was much lower.) Fellina and Rappa joined me, and we killed the damn bees for a few hours with no drop. I eventually had to leave for some sleep.

Fellina and Rappa continued to kill wespe's for a few more hours on my behalf, even in my abscense. No drop. Fellina logged out in the Temple mainly due to the lateness of the hour. Next day she logged in and killed the first wespe she saw, just for the hell of it. I wasn't there as thf for TH2, but anything can happen. And it did... first kill got a bee larva, and she popped the NM with me earlier today. Obviously, Death From Above was no problem to duo, and now the Hornet's Needle is mine.

I got my larva when i got agroed on a Zm4 run by a wespe when i was logging off to go eat dinner. We had been farming lanterns for about 2 or 3 hrs when we finally got our 4th lantern. When i was logging off to go to eat dinner i get agroed by a wespe. I didnt know about it cause i had left the room to take a shower and when i walk bacj through the room and notice my char standing up again someone sees me start to log and says check the treasure box. I look and low and behold my larve is sitting there. My party was even nice enough to pop DFA for me. What sucks is when i was trying for one duoing them with a friend a long time ago we spent 3 days ~6hrs each day trying for a larve and never got one, when we both said we woudlnt leave w/o two.

All i can say is your gonna love it and congrats.
 
Grats, Osse. Didn't realize how much pain and tribulation is apparently associated with this!
 
Grats, Osse! I still can't believe that after all those hours we tried she just logged in and got one in 5 seconds, haha. I'm just glad you got it, it's a pimp weapon.

I went to kill DFA for the thf in my old static, and really wanted one for my rdm. As were clearing the room, DFA starts smacking our war out of nowhere. He was pissed someone popped it before We were ready, but it turns out DFA had just been chilling in the room from the last time someone popped it. We even did a /search area after We killed it, but noone else was in the zone Oo

thf got the first, traded his larvae, and I got the second w zero farming time! woot!
