Horrible Experience With Player "Aandj" on Quetz

Sorry I wouldn't normally use this as this is really just a game. But something tonight really ticked me off and I think people should be warned of the player "Aandj" on Quetz.

I have the log files for the whole night saved as I dont know how Aandj will take this.

So I begin in this party in Crawlers Nest after an invite from Aandj. I have partied with 2 of the people in the party already and am on good terms with both the JP Palidan and the very nicely equiped Sam of the party. Me and the Sam got to business and everything was going quite nicely. Until my window got this while I was out to get another mob to complete chains:

Against my judgement I pulled a solider crawler after disengaging the Horn Fly.

* switched to all dodge gear (emp hairpin, dodge earing x2, battle gloves, agi rings and tried to blink tank at this point) survived for awhile until blinking finally gave out *

We all get kicked at this point and everyone is forced to Home Point; I talk to everybody say sorry to the JP Palidan I know, and basically I am astonished that all this went down. I still dont know what he was trying to do. Before this he was mentioning something about using his two hour twice before and after he leveled ( guess he wanted to time it ).

I would like to warn you to stay away from this character and I have uploaded and posted the chat logs for the entire fight to my server:

I can't get the FFXI Parser to go through an already non - live file so I can show all the dmg and the fight in a nice pretty format had to scan through the chat files themselves.

Hehe, well i lost some major exp so I am still a little feverish, that and Aandj basically said he would ruin my name on the server ; ; log #11 or 12 i can't remember... So i kept the log files and posted them here for backup. Also posted it all just in case someone who wants to defend him doesn' t have a leg to stand on.
 
believe me he is already below dog shit parasite on the totem pole of respect for a lot of ppl especially higher lvls, i wouldnt worry much...
 
I don't think AandJ can ruin anyones names on the forums Pah, I've xp'd with u before couple of times and I know ur a very good player.
AandJ can be agreed upon as being a big tard, its funny that one of my two LS has him blisted for being n idiot.
 
Please Paha, anybody who knows you knows what an excellent player you are. You dont have anything to worry about!
 
Aandj is a major super duper asshat and the words getting around. I have never seen a rdm stuck at one level for as long as he has. At the begining of summer he was 59 :)
 
Everyone knows him.. Nobody likes him.. For reasons exactly like you stated..
Bad players are one thing, but bad players who wont take advice, and think they should be calling all the shots are as bad as it gets...

I wouldn't spend a minute worrying, it's hard for him to ruin someones reputation when half the server has him black listed.

/comfort Aandj.. Find yourself another server and start anew.. ..and please take advice this time around :wink:
 
Aandj was in my linkshell, BloodofLegends. I liked him for a little while, but one night he was drunk and we being very annoying. Then he wanted to come along while doing my AF2 in Castle Oztroja to get his coffer, and he kept bugging us over and over and over again in the linkshell. Then he logeed. I'm pretty sure he was kicked from the linkshell.

Anyways, yeah, I've said pretty much what I said about Aandj in that post. However, he seems to turning into a more of a tool than I thought.

Someone said two people play the character, hence the A and J. I didn't really bother to follow up on this because this guy is always asking for help but I haven't seen him ever helping someone out so I don't want to waste my typing energy striking up a conversation with him. I wonder if both A person and J person are drunk idiots.

I don't know....if you level too fast and don't develop any real connections along the way, I can see how you become a jack ass in the game. You don't have any friends at that point, so why bother making any? I'm kind of glad I didn't get him a link pearl for our LS...lol.
 
I also have had some experience with Aandj...

One night i was in Garliage Citadel leveling and i was in a pt with Aandj. He was actually really good this night and the pt went super awesome...so the next night im on...and i get a blind invite but join anyways, and see Aandj is in the party. "Great!" i think to myself because ive had a good experience with him already...well that was completely untrue.

The party starts and is going fairly decent...not the best but not the worst. All of a sudden we get a minor link...and Aandj dies in 2 hits (it was seriously only 2 hits...i saw it in the chat log). He then proceeds to type "Heal me you stupid assholes" and "You are all so fucking stupid". I dont think anyone caught these in their log cuz nobody said anything...and i would have let it pass (i understand some people are touchy when they die....). So after he gets raised and everyone is healed up we try to discuss strategy when i say..."thanks for telling off the party" He proceeds to say "i never inslulted anyone"...Sooo thennn i bring up the quotes and he tells me to "Grow Up Tim" I typed in the longest HAHAHA ever....and he did a "/shout Fuck this place im going to the Crawlers Nest" And then left. Im glad im not the only one to have a shitty experience with this asshat.
 
That last post cuts the the matter of how you can have both good and bad experiences with Aandj... he is two people. The name "Aandj" is not a double-a name like Aaron. it is "A and J", the first initials of the pair of people playing this character. If you know Aandj and talk to him enough the differences show through.
Not that I'm excusing his actions. I am in Swishiee's LS, and we were with Aandj for a long time. Apperantly I was the only one he didn't screw over or annoy. He wasn't kicked, he left. Be that as it may, OTHER players, really good ones, left because of him.
 
thats odd, i have played with that redmage many times, he was good. he even invited me to a linkshell called " sk8tordie ", or something like that. and i have never had any problems with him.

But i guess people change?? or someone was using his char for some time
 
He was shouting today and calling someone stupid for buying Astral rings. You know his argument? "What a waste, why don't you just level to 40 and get electrum rings..?"

Umm....generally, level 10 rings are there to be used between levels 10-40. Maybe he's a little out of touch of the normal levelling patterns where you have to be properly equipped for LEVELLING in the first place..lol. Ah well, he's rank 5, rdm in artifact gear, so he looks good on paper. ANd I would really like to know which personality is behind the wheel when he plays. It's pretty much a Dr. Jekel (I know that is spelt wrong... :( ) and Mr. Hyde situation with him. Unfortunately, the people who actually do see the Dr side are rare while his Hyde side shows up more often which was probably evident tonight.... geez, what kind of solution is that? "Oh, why bother wasting money on a level 10 item, just go level to 40 and get the same item to use"
 
Yeah Palum is speaking of an argument I had with him in Jeuno last night. Clobiant (sp?) apparently had 2 astral rings stolen from him so Aandj started shouting that he was an idiot for buying Astral rings and that they are a complete waste of money because you can buy Electrum. So I piped in that Astral rings are great because they're lower level and that's why they're so exspensive. So he keeps going on about how stupid astral rings are and I once again pipe in the fact that Astral Rings are level 10 and Electrum are level 40, so he comes back with something a long the lines of "Well in the time you were farming for Astral Rings you could of been level 40." I said something along the lines of "Some of us like to be well eqipped from levels 1-30." He called me a 16 year old bitch (I'm not 16 btw....23 now -_-;) and I blacklisted him...how the hell does such an idiot get to level 61!?!
 
considering it seems to have taken him three MONTHS to get from 59-61 thats hillarious
 
here is my experience with aandj...
I was in a party at qufim and I was tanking as my 23nin/war. We had a War for backup tanking Level 23 also. This was working for about an hour and 30 min with no problems. Then all of the sudden after the puller get a mob the back-up tank vokes less than 5 seconds after me (I even had utsusemi still so I was not taking damage). Well when his life goes into red and my voke isn't recharged he dies. Well after 2 hours of good xp he decides he was waisting his time. So he starts to yell and curse and sends me a /tell "thank you for waisting my ??????? time you Bit??
You are the worst Ninja I have ever seen, If you want to be a ninja read a book and learnto play ninja. I am telling my level 60 community about you and you will never get a party blah blah blah.." Well for one thing he voked 5 seconds after me and another thing if he is going to yell he should be yelling at the other war who hadn't voked even once...and another thing he shouldnt be mad for dying one time after 2 hours of good xp! So be very weary about partying with AandJ he will likley be a baby and piss someone off. Sorry for the flame but I just had to get off my back thanks Cinnamaron
 
Trust me, the level 60 community is aware of Aandj, I wouldn't worry too much...
