I've been playing the Japanese demo for around a year now.
Let me give you a little background. I hate golf. I don't watch it on TV. I can't get the little stupid ball to move any distance and I don't give a shit about Tiger Woods.
With that out of the way, I've probably played this demo more than most of you play full games. The physics and gameplay are very good, and I find the cartoony graphics actually more appealing than the creepy attempt at trying to look like real people most sports games give us. Not having played the full game I can't attest to the features, but I doubt we'll be getting anything as incredible as "Road to the Show" like in MLB 08.
In that regard, you probably won't be playing this game for 5 hour blocks and getting pissed off about having to go to work or school. You will probably however keep coming back to this game months after purchasing, instead of running to gamestop to trade it in.
Not sure if there is a NA/EU demo somewhere to be had, but try the gameplay out and see if you find it as addicting as me.
Just to give you an idea of my tastes in sports game... MLB series and the occasional NHL game like NHL 08 by EA is what I'll play. Considering Hot Shots tennis if they make a high def game.. liked that demo too.
