I know it has been nothing but Brawl on the Wii for everyone since it came out, but i think this game deserves some love from at least someone. It was a great arcade game, and the fact that they didn't include #1 make me all the more happy, because i still have #1 for my dreamcast.

Anyone else bother to pick this game up, or has it been nothing but brawl for everyone *but* me?

lol

I only ever played house of the dead on arcade. I didnt much like rail shooters that were ported over... For some reason, they didnt have the same feel to me. That isnt to say any of them are bad games, though.

I can see why most don't. The wii controls for this game aren't exactly easy. I'm just about the biggest house of the dead fan boy though. Pretty much the reason i still haven't sold my Dcast version of #1 or typing of the dead.

I had a feeling i would be the only one with the ability to be torn off of brawl for a game, especially one like this.

I played this game for years in the arcade. When I saw it was coming out for Wii, I went out and picked up one of the gun attachments. This is going to be sweets, but will still be for when I get tired of SSBB.

The only rail shooter I ever remember playing on console was Time Crisis, dont remember which one... It was also on dreamcast, though.

Talking about this makes me sad because an couple arcades near here were shut down... Damn you, online gaming.

I was actually looking forward to this one, did I completely miss it getting released? I guess Brawl took over everything for me ^^;

I'd suggest picking up the Wii Zapper for this game, maybe we'll get the Time Crisis games someday as well.

Ocean Hunters would be nice too, also the Jurassic park one was fun as well.

Sega makes good rail shooters, haha.

I'll definetly pick this up when I can pull myself away from Smash.

Nyko Perfect Shot > All.

Its coming out pretty soon and it just going to blow that P.O.S Wii Zapper out of the water.

Arcades started dying long before the advent of the internet. It was the atari 2600 and NES that were the beginning of the end for arcades - why pour quarters into an arcade when you can bring the game home and play all you want for $40-50?

yeah that was the beginning, but even then the arcades around here still had a LOT of customers. It wasnt until around xbox/360 that the arcades took their final blow and died.

I saw this, but never got into the House of the Dead series. Now, if they ported Police Trainer, I'd be all over that.

lol, I play that almost every time I go to the theater... That and galaga.

One of the arcade games I loved so much (yet cant remember the name of it for the life of me,) was a shooter with a sensor pad that you stand on and it detects whether youre crouching, standing or leaning around corners... I wish I could remember what it was called, but either way... It almost seems like it would be a good port for the wii with the wii fitness pad. Would be just as nifty with that head motion tracking thingy thats been played with

Finally remembered to pick this one up, I'm pleased with how well they preserved the two games entirely, even the terrible dialogue XD

Not complaining one bit, it makes me shoot and laugh at the same time ^^
