All you people complaining about not getting drops or whatever how about you just go kill shit and shut the hell up. Complaining about your LS not helping? How about you help the LS and your turn will soon come. Don't like someone or a particular shell? Just freaking avoid them or blist them.

Endgame is what you make it. Quetzalcoatl is not better or worse then any other server. One of the best "Big Game Hunting" shell all servers could possibly be NA on this server and they are willing to give advice and help other shells kill the same shit if you just ask them - I do. I don't want to join them I want to kill this shit with my friends but its nice to get a tip every now and then.

Don't think multiple LS can team up and take HNMs when not enough of your own shell is not on? We do.
Sharing ToDs in sky with other sky shells? We do.
I let people get wins in TheDynamisShow from other Dynamis shells almost every run. I don't mind.

Lend out gear and always get it back. Lend out gil and always get it back. Get along with JP/EU/NA all the same. I make stupid mistakes and get people killed and I do things I didn't think possible and get praised for it - either way its usually followed by a lot of laughs with the people dead or alive.

Do I have any enemies? Don't think so but I'm sure Ive pissed off someone somewhere but they ignore me which is cool.

This kind of game play is what I have been referring to as Foomania!
Sound kind of egotistical but its all in fun and a lot people have been enjoying it.
Basically the premise is just shut the hell up and go kill shit with your friends. Enjoy the game.

Too many people forget at the end of the day, this is just a video game. Made for one reason only... Enjoyment. Sure, the game kicks your ass or something doesn't go your way sometimes, but hey thats life. So, chill out, have fun, and make things bleed along the way.

We should really write out the doctrine of Foomania, the world would be a better place if more followed it. XD

Other servers when someone wipes on a mob then the remaining competing ls's will /random to see who gets the claim. -.-

It isnt exactly what you are saying but people on this server are to darn greedy to do such a thing. They don't understand that this entire game is built around teamwork!
 
all it takes is one LS to make that rule impossible... I'd be all for it, if i actually believed all the other LSs at the location would participate and honor the result. Greed, i think, has very little to do with it... Rather distrust.
 
i for one will never trust other ls on a crappy lotting system like in Bahamut as the risk of getting F*** is high.
people can just rush in to claim and disobey that lame rule.

To further complicate things, it really only takes 1 person to mess it up. Only 1 guy has to be impatient enough to voke a mob for the whole system to be thrown out of whack.

Who the hell cares about a stupid random after a whipe on fafhogg...you know thats not the most pressing need in end game quetz, right? And not some servers do it, about one does it and it ends up causing more drama half the time than it fixes. Nice post though, Foo.

This whole post is summed up with one word: Trust. Nothing will get accomplished because people cannot trust each other to not be greedy and steal or lie to them. In the very few instances you did something good and/or noble, the other people are making a profit from it.

Teaming up? The one occasion that happened, we both NEEDED each other to accomplish the task or we would have both lost the claim (which we later did after the wipe). If one or both of the groups had refused to join together, neither of us would have had a chance. If either of us had had a full alliance, that group would have refused to join. So in that one instance, it was the only alternative and if either had another alternative, we would have used it.

Dynamis? It only profits the group to allow someone to come to a dynamis run just for the win. The person is never allowed to lot any drops and is just free labor to get a win and extra AF/coins. It benefits the shell to allow them, although not necessary, so we can all get the wins needed for outlands and help farm AF for the shell members. You may let in one person to your shell, but one person from your shell has to go to another shell to get a win too. I scratch your back, you scratch mine.

Lending out gear/money? You only do it for people you can really trust. You'd never do it for someone outside the LS or someone you've never met so how can you relate that to the entire Quetz server? So you wouldn't trust someone you don't know to borrow gear, but you trust them to work together? Where does your trust end?

Don't get me wrong, I am all for trust and sharing, but there is a certain extent where I and even you draw the line. You'll share times of death for sky pop NMs, but you will still counter camp Ulli. You'll work together at Cerberus, but the moment we go to KA, Bune, Roc or any other lesser HNM, you probably wouldn't think twice about it. There is a very thin line and the only times we will all work together is when we know we both stand to profit from it. This is the simple fact of the matter and it will never change.

As for the whole dating thing, that is their choice. I can chose to play any way I chose. I can make friends, enemies or date anyone I chose to in this game. If that's not what you like, maybe you should follow your own advice and use the black list and ignore. I or anyone else for that matter shouldn't have to change for you to feel comfortable in the game. If you don't like it, deal with it because as far as I am concerned, it doesn't concern you.

I am sure that was somehow a jab at me, but nonetheless, QCDN does have an ignore function.
 
With the right attitude you don't have to worry about people screwing you over. I loan strangers shit all the time in exp. parties and stuff and they always give it back because I don't give anyone a reason to distrust me. Your attitidue dictates how you get along with people in this game. If it seems like you are always getting screwed over by people or shells or whatever maybe it is a reflection on yourself.

If you are referring to favoritism or friendship from a shell, fine I can agree to that, but you cannot possibly believe that a thief is going to suddenly be persuaded from stealing from you because your attitude was "cool". As for getting screwed over, some shells are just shitty like that. :nyam:
