http://www.killingifrit.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=146268&PHPSESSID=25feefeabd859bc9359f82eaa378c719

I drew the islands as an example and as a point of reference only, and going according to what was in the Vana'diel Tribune and FFXI Wiki.

Wait...if the northlands are already so cold, then how cold is it in the northern empire?

well the northland was a grass land before the Fei'yin blow up

where would be located the entrance of Al'taieu on this map?

I knew it, Bastok really is the center of all life on Vana'Diel! OWNED!

aint it Tu'lia

uhhh... wow here I was thinking one more expansion and this game was done... im so wrong lol. Level Increase ? If so, to counter act it they would have to increase level of some mobs lol.

*Spoiler if you havent been through ZM* Remember Northlands are only cold and baron because of the Zilat's failed attempt at Paradise.

something tells me you'll get to that southern area from the blocked port in norg.. and the north area from the blocked 'port' area in Tenshodo Jeuno. Maybe meet back up with Tenzen for the Far East, and then meet back up with Prishe and Ulmia for the West Continent (sealion's den airship)... I dunno.. just a guess.

I bet SE won't finish.

I doubt so. SE have a "don't need an expansion back to get to another" policy.

And as for the airship dock in Sea Lion's Den, that's the airship that gets you to Al'Taieu. And the dock in Norg is the one that ships wares from/to Norg and Tenshodo in Jeuno.

I think southern continent will be connected with Selbina, probably.

well.. tenshodo have ties to north and south and east based on that black market quest in norg. (Northern Fur, Eastern Pottery, Southern Mummy). Or am i thinking too far in those directions? Also, that must be one heck of a ship ride to go from norg to tenshodo Jeuno.

Also.. isn't there a 'blocked port' area in Kazham as well?

Thats how it is in all blocked off areas isnt it? The ones they plan on using in the future but haven't added anything to yet

Actually minimum 6. The Far East could easily be another expansion, since the Aht Urhgan Empire clearly stops halfway across the continent.

Why were you thinking only 1 more expansion?

EverQuest is on its, er... 12th? expansion.

There was a lot of talk on BlueGartr if that is actually even real. I can see a couple of those happenening, but not all. Just look at how many more major cities it seems to introduce compared to already existing places.
