How did you end up at Quetzy?

Playing Everquest with FiresofHeaven guild friends. We came to Quetzy for awhile, I created CK and they bolted for WoW as soon as it came out. Miss those guys but I was all about ff ;p
 
I never really had an interest in video games whatsoever. However my rl friends got sucked into it and I soon followed. They both gave me WPs, so I had two characters: Azurial on Asura, and Evanai here on Quetz.

As soon as I joined everybody ditched me for WoW and left me to fend for myself in my first MMO. -. - I kept Evanai and deleted Azurial because I was more familiar with Quetzalcoatl.
 
A friend of mine was playing on a different server and had an idea for a Linkshell. Another friend of hers all got us world passes to Quetz but then that guy quit right after.

So we all came over to Quetz and along with getting lost in Fort Ghelshba (spelling?) somehow we got into this silly conversation with some other players and ARRRRRRR was born. It then developed into the first Crimson Pirates Linkshell (which Armi made white on accident XD).

I did play on another server till my good friend just never came back to FFXI and so I have stuck with Quetz ever since.
 
played on bahamut with RL friends, hated seeing RL friends on an MMO. If i wanted to hang out with them, i would call them. So yes, bought a new copy and started a new. Randomly picked Quetzalcoatl

Few old IRL friends all played on Quetz. Peer pressure finally won out and I bought the damned game myself. Sorcha's the only one that still plays, Rieki quit last year, and the other two stopped playing a way long time ago without getting very far.
 
Started out on Quetz when I first started playing a few years back. I've been tempted to go onto other servers, but just decided to stay here, since all my friends are here and all.

Long live the Aztec sun god lolz
 
Bought my copy of FFXI, started it up and it picked quezy for me, Was my first MMO To ever play, so I got lost, made friends, and then my PC Fried :D, Came back a month later with a new one, and All my friends had quit.... Just decided to stay, and I ended up getting hooked up With CowboysfromHell, and it went up from there. My 3 Year Aniversary (Spelling?) for picking up the game is coming up soon :D
 
I made a purty hume female with red hair on Diabolos named Reyes after my old girlfriend's last name but the bitch dumped my pretty ass. Anyway, a friend from PSO made a char here and I named myself Legomyeggo but the dick could never find me, so I remade my char and named it after my old PSO char, Neosquall, hoping that would help him find it. You know, as slow as this server is and as dumb as some of the people are, I couldn't imagine being in any other place.
 
I bought the PS2 harddrive, and made fun of the few people in my socom clan that said they would actually activate. Two weeks after it came out, they had a WP where 3 guys from my clan were, so i joined the game.

Mercedmike, Avalanches, Quacogi, Offdahez, and a few others, only qaicogi and I made it past 30, then he quit at like 40 rng and i was alone.

woot everquest miss that game and my enchanter...

3 friends and I started this one day I ended up on this server and was looking for my friends later finding out 1 end up in siren other in some other world. Well got them world passes and they came and join me. They soon got tired of game and I stayed. Join linkshell "cowboy from hell" and played to 30 rdm and got drg unlocked. The days when drg was king, ninja was dd, and war was tank. Then had go 8 month deployment over seas. (Was on the USS JOHN F. KENNEDY when it hit that fishing boat) When came back cowboy from hell was no more and the entire game did a 180, but I stayed and glad I did.

Pretty much the same, but me and the friend started at the same time.
 
My good RL buddy and I always had a joke about Quetzalcoatl from the other FF games. Even at the bowling alley he would type in his name as Quetzalcoatl.

Well he buys the game at release and names his character "Quetzacoatl" (without an L)...and actually lands on this server, not even knowing that the servers were named as they are. He got me a WP when i started, and then quit 3 months later, but it was funny how it happened.

I still remember him giving me a rabbit mantle and a pot for my MH on my first day, i thought i was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He was a 25 WHM and i was jealous, and he was in GreenCherry and couldnt get me in, so i was even more jealous. Good times
 
My RL friend who no longer plays landed on this server. He was persuading me to come but I was gonna play on Ifrit or a server with a much cooler name. Eventually I agreed and spent an hour or so spamming male taru characters called Blabj till I eventually became a nublet sandy blm on the world of quetzalcoatl.
 
The guy I sat next to in my A Level Politics class came in one day listening to some of the FFVIII orchestral score, we got talking about FF and I mentioned I wanted to get FFXI, he told me he already played it and I should join his server so that he could help me and play with him, this person was Xephon and we became good friends and now share a house together.
 
Kaete, Fluffers, Kyp, Mokk, Zeromous, Zhyk and myself all migrated here from Earth and Beyond.

Eve Online (I think?) kinda took most of the fans for that genre and we weren't into it, so we moved here. We were the radical dreamers, then we came here and Kaete started Dreamers of Dawn.

Me Mokk and Z started in windy, and everyone else started in Bastok. It was next to impossible to get a pearl across the world at that point in time, so me and Mokk started our own LS. To this day, some of my fondest mmo memories come from playin EnB with that crowd.
 
My Husband started playing and he asked me to lvl his character when he was at work so i did and got addicted so we bought another ps2 and the game he bought me a world pass and here i am lol.
 
Seems like many people came here via a friend who later quit...A Real Life friend also introduced me to this game(Im not a big FF fan) when it came out back in 2003. We started on Bahamut. He quit a few weeks later and I took a break after a few months. Later on in the year I got back and come to this server via another Real Life Friend(Voltorb of Everlost LS).
