how do I get a jaeger ring?

[Claxton]

I read a thread at allakazham about new armor. one of the new pieces is a lvl 35 rare/ex ring called jaeger ring. It has ranged acc +4 and ranged att+4. would be nice being a ranger. anyways, does anyone know how to get this?

[Triban]

Its related to a multipart Oldton Movolapolas quest. I believe Kyrial may know more about it.

I belive this ring has +4 ACC and +4 R.ACC. Don't think it has any R. ATT bonouses.

It's from part of the Missionary Moblin quest from Oldton Movalpolos, I'm fairly sure. First you have to get a Soiled Letter from Orcish Footsoldiers (apparently any Footsoldiers can drop it, regardless of where you fight them). When you take this back to the Moblin that gives the quest, she gives you 4k gil, I think. But there is still more to do. I'm not clear on the details, but I know the next part has something to do with a Yagudo NPC in Castle Oztroja (along the way to the basement where the magicite is, in one of the "outside" areas).

Ah, okay. The quest I was talking about is for the Jaeger Mantle, not the Ring. The Jaeger Ring (Accuracy+4 Ranged Accuracy+4) is a drop from Carmine Dobsonfly in Riverne Site #A01. I heard about this thing... when you attack him, apparently a whole bunch of clones of him spawn and link with him or something, no matter how he is pulled or how far away from him they are. And he spawns only once every 21-24 hours. Additionally, this area can only be accessed if you are on Promathia mission 2-5 or farther, and is level 40 capped. Soooo.... good luck trying to get that. :lol:

These Dobsonflies are all Impossible to gauge...but are all assumed to be around IT level.

I'm nearly damn sure that an alliance is required for this ^^;
