How do Mithra reproduce? (Serious question)

Male mithras technically do exist, but haven't been put in the game as NPCs or playable characters.

I remember when I ended up watching the Making of FFXI video long time ago, and one of the FFXI Development Team guys mentioned that they exist but are secluded from society. Then they just left it as that.

I wouldn't mind if they brought them out of seclusion.
Perhaps, make male mithras and a couple of other races available or playable in the near future would be nice thought, SE. :-)

Who knows? Maybe we will see them in the new expansion pack, or in ToAU
if it manages to expand further on the Far Eastern Empire.

More races would break the lore they've been using for years, unless they let you play as a beastmen.

So for clarities sake. There are Male Mithra's but they're back in the Mithran homeland correct? Kazham is NOT the homeland, and just some island the rebels supposidly escaped to from their evil ruler or something like that. We don't know where this homeland really is.

Am I right?
I believe it's one of the Islands to the south as previously mentioned, I'm thinking the Island of Tsahya.

wow looking at all of this id say that this game has alot of expansions ahead of it =XXX

Interesting didnt know the world was so big... o.O

I would only expect 2 more expansions at most after WoG comes out though. Far Eastern, and MAYBE Mithra homlands. I don't think they could get away with so many expansions, and not raise level cap.

Well there is already mention of the Far Eastern Empire in ToAU, and apparently they are enemies of the Aht Urhgan Empire.

They could expand on this further if they're planning to prolong the ToAU storyline, which they most likely can.

It would be interesting if the story still continues even when the new expansion pack comes out considering it takes place on two different time periods.

I think when they wrap things up with ToAU and the new expansion pack, they will eventually start to touch the other areas. By then a lot of people might be FF-outed, so they will need to make it just as inovative and interesting to keep their fans pleased.

Nonetheless, the possibilities are limitless for the time being judging by that nice map. :-D

Wouldn't mind seeing a far eastern expansion... but you'd have to finish CoP to get access.

Get off at the dock and BAM, Tenzen is there to greet you. And instead of being a scrub like when you get to ToAU, it'd be nice to start off as a hero since you were the one to save the world from Promathia.

This was done by a fan not a developer. Like I said before if they really wanted to do all those expansions they would need to at least bump the cap to 80 because what's the point unless they just add more merits.

Except that it'd make the current endgame almost trivially easy, kind of like what WoW's expansion did. There's no reason to do the old endgame, since you get better stuff just leveling to 70. A new cap would require a big rework of the current system or just make current stuff mostly pointless.

True, but we don't know how long it will take them to get all the expansions out. They could be working on a southern island right now, or the far east. I seriously hope they would raise the cap I guess, but apparently that would break some jobs like WHM and BLM making RDM near useless.

Yeah, it's just a fan drawing, but it's a good depiction of just how big the world could actually be.

Actually I thought it was about average size for a FF game world map wise.

WEll depending on how they did it If they raised the level cap then yes it would make current endgame pritty much trivalized

But if they Where the old Endgame still had value but could be don with less people, you would still see people there.. Sky for example instead of having Allainces kill Kirin have like a party do it or 2 parties.

Big restrictions would have to be placed on what could and couldent be subbed but i doubt that would be difficult since they do that already with the Call Wyvren ability which cant be used with /drg

But a new endgame similar to sky but just have mobs with a higher levelcap would be intresting.

i <3 speculating

And yet all of Vana'diel is within one time zone...... The sun goes down at the same time in Aht Urghan, and in Sandoria!

That is because the world is flat you fool!

False. It is a scientifically proven fact that mithra do not like Khajit. =P

Quit trying to ruin my delusional world of fiction Celv! Oh and you just got N body.
