how is this possible

Funny I was just telling people about something like this and they told me it was impossible. Except my example was 6 rng/nin killing Mandra's somewhere.
 
please also not that they are gaining limit points... its a totally different type of party when its limit points
 
it is impossible, the highest chain possible is like 20-21-22-23 one of those. - isn't it O.o;

what makes you think that? just cuz person who took screenshot had it on limit mode doesnt mean everyone does
 
It's very possible. BTW forget that, check out the link to the chain #173 thread on the bottom of that one. o.o;
 
according to what i know SE programmed chains up to 50. after 5 the time between kills cuts in half or so and all you have to do is make that time 45 times to get there.
 
Higher chains do exist. Easy way to test this is with a low lvl smn (like 10) and high lvl tank (60+). Have tank train an entire zone of T (to the smn) mobs on him and then the smn 2hours the whole group. Instant chain 50+. Seen quite a few pics of it done before. Very impressive. :D
 
You can get infinite chain... just the XP increase is capped at chain 5

It's fairly safe to assume that though, and atleast ONE of the Monks is working on Merits, since he says he's 2k until one. Plus they both have Melee Gaiters, making Counterstance a beast. And believe me, I use Counterstance when I exp in KRT, and I can tell you with Kampfer Earring and under LE conditions, it's rare enough for me to be touched, and I don't have Melee Gaiters.
 
Well, I am sure they SJ NIN.. nor they do stay in a spot. If you stay in a spot... you normally just get chain 6-7 if you are lucky.

SJ Nin.. cause their hp did not hit 2000 when they have 2-3 AF2 pieces

Still amazing... i wish a pt of 3 drgs can do it lol.. but that is soo unlikely lol
 
for chain 42 i don think you would have time to cast utsusemi:ni -_-
