Are you serious? My friend Hayako and I are getting married in game, are we RP silly stuff a lot... but do we consider each other an item? Nope. There is nothing a girl can offer me through a modem that I'm interested in.

I wouldn't call it dating, rather 2 members that clicked and shared interests and information about our real lives. That and our characters cuddled all the time.

Her ingame name was Ashalala. And when i found out she was a gil seller i still remained with her. She gave me items that were worth hundreads of thousands of gil. Once i accidentally tossed a Phantom tathlum as she gave it to me, i replaced it with my bow. She gave me another one right away. I still maintain the Phantom Tathlum and plan to keep it till the end.

Ashalala no longer plays FFXI, as i would imagine she was not making enough gil/money. She couldn't resist being with me. As it turned out on her final days of FFXI she let me know she was leaving. She said she needs to get a better job, and she hopes one day she can actually buy the Ashalala account and play regularly. i would imagine hte owner of the account wasn't happy with the amount of incone he was recieving from the player.

There is a way of finding out if someone you knew accunt is still active, by attempting to send something to their delivery box. If the account no longer exists, the delivery service will not activate upon request. The Ashalala account still exists but has not been in use for well over 6 monthes now.

I never seen Ashalala again. And if i do i would be sure that the person is not the Ashalala i once knew.
 
yep 0 dated, 0 dumped. I'm good friends with some of them, but we're not an item and we don't go out of our way doing stuff together. However there is a good friend of mine in my ls thats dating someone I went to high school with. They met in game then met later on in RL.

There were more flirt-type but not something i'd consider actual dating...

Me and my current have been together 2.5 years, we moved in together 1.5 yers ago :)

We met in front of the chocobo stables... I still have pictures...
 
Also a 0 and 0. Most people I know don't date in-game.

Although I have made a few friends through the game. I've met 4 people in real life that I'm friends with in game (none of which actually live close to me).

Reece, my boyfriend at the time got me into playing ffxi. we staticed together until until lvl 55ish with two of our other friends irl. Well as RL goes we broke up! (oh nos) lol he stinky :P

Raesvelg, this is my hunies galka-poo (\^-^/) I've been dating Raes irl for almost a year now. We've been staticing together since lvl 10, he's my galka paladin <3 We're still together today and do everything in game together ;)

One of my friends who was a girl in one of my first linkshell ended up wooing one of my rl friends and ended up to being a guy..... and met another woman and she flew out from new york and came to live with him in socal. so yeah not a very big fan if intarweb dating >.>
