Own a scanner or a webcam? I'm just checking......because my parents won't let me get one...and it's causing some vicious difficulties/tension with my ex and crap....and one guy who's been obsessing with me online for well over a year has been telling him alot of lies and crap....and he's believing them all.. -_-

Just....apparently, if a girl has no scanner/webcam and fails to get one, she's automatically a 40-year pedophile, or something....Was wondering if I really am the only one out there without a scanner/webcam or if my ex is a moron and this obsessor is just some hellbent asshole hoping to ruin everything we were trying to fix...

Yep - I have both, and a digital cam..blah blah blah...

I can understand parents not wanting webcams for thier chillen...however...

One of those disposable digital cameras is pretty cheap. Schools also have some pretty impressive technology these days. Public libraries and college libraries too. None of your friends have either? No relatives, not one single person you know has access to a digital cam?

Some copying places will let you scan in things too and stick em on disks for ya.

I don't know about cost of much of this - other than that webcams are like 20 bucks - a lot if you're in high school, but whatever.

I have 1 big rule. I will not, under any circumstances, meet someone or take them seriously on-line if they haven't sent multiple pics. I've been burned once by that and never will again. Then again, I don't date ppl under 21...if you can't find 20 bucks to get yourself hooked up, or go grab a disposable digital cam - then you're probably not someone I'm interested in. Not cuz the dude is broke, but because he's not resourceful

Only person in my family who even HAS a computer other than me is my brother....who has no scanner either...
The cheapest digital camera or such I've ever seen was $40...but I'm not gonna get into how quickly my money gets burned buying my mom and dad cigarettes and crap, think I'd just get flamed either way...

The disposable digitals - I THINK - are around 10...but dunno...never needed to buy one ><
