How Not to Act at Level 75!

So, Jender, Sneakypants, Joogar, Pascal, Anesly and I go to the dreaded Crawelrs' Nest for a bit of XP, seeing that Wednesday at 7pm is the only night of the week we can static.

We get there, and kill a few things, and then all of a sudden this group of people shows up.

Cherubuael

Immediately they begin killing all of the helm beetles that were are killing for xp. This is, of course, because they drop coffer keys.

Now, this is where I get pissed off.

Where is the sense of common courteously in this game? We explained to them, that we only had a limited amount of time to play when we could play, but they said "Whatevr you can just xp some other time" and killed every single mob in the area...several of these players were level 75...

SO, not only did they totally monopolize the Helm Beetles in the area, they laughed at us when we politely asked them to leave our xp mobs alone, because, in all truthfulness, we were THERE FIRST.

I am appalled and disgusted at the lack of courteously displayed by some of the higher levels in this game. Just disgusted...
 
wow, that does not sound like Ujio at all, but I haven't partied with him in quite a while. Also Uj is played by 2 people (brothers).

Another thing, why were they doin' helm beetles, when they could've just as easily done Crawler Hunters and Rumblers on the 2nd map? Doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, sorry to hear they were jerks to y'all.
 
We were past the rumble's the helm beetles that drop coffer keys were hard enough, anything a higher level would have slaughtered us :/
 
hmm I know Summer and Skc, and I have never known them to act even remotely like that, can't speak for the rest though.
 
I'm so sick and tired or people thinking that if they enter a zone first they automatically own all the mobs in the area. There are over 2000 people on the damn server gimme a fricken break. Theres enough stuff for everyone to kill and crying on a website isn't gonna solve anything. Just shut up and let it go.

Yeah, but if they had been there first, I would have let them have it. See I have this thing called courteousy. So, be a dickhead if you want, I try to be nice and courteous when I play.

Second of all, this board has been too non-flamish for it's own good but this is NOT a good spot to start shit. Pick on Firestreak, he's beggin for it.

No, no one owns an area, but dear lord..if lowbies are exping then let 'em. It really wouldn't have been a big deal for them to find other mobs for coffers. It really would have been difficult for the pt to exp elsewhere.

GAWD DAMN you people are making me grumpy. Common courtesy isn't a BAD thing last time I checked. This whole stupid bootstrap philosphy is smelly bathwater. Toss it.

Ya we went there to farm a coffer key for Sidd..If anyone knows Sidd ud know he's always there when someone needs his help, with anythin.. We killed All the coffer dropping mobs in the area not just the helm beetles, so it wasnt anything personal, we were just there for the key and then we got out- think 40mins total..wait it out or find a better place to xp..-Peace
 
Dude! Personal or not you ruined our night! For the same reason you don't farm in Valkrum Dunes where everyone is XPing, you don't kill EVERY SINGLE MOB in an area that a group is already sitting at. It was shitty, and I'm not going to take a half-assed apology.

Hmm.

Interesting the things that get left out.

First of all when I offered to move I thought it was because of lag. I didn't realize you guys wanted us to leave. Which is why we only moved further down in the tunnel.

Second of all some of the people in my party started to get pissed after they tried to help you with link and didn't get a thank you when we tossed out heals (even though we did thank you when you did the same for us).

Third, regardless of what my pt members did I NEVER once did a nasty emote. Yet I was slapped and pissed on. So don't even start to fucking bitch to me about courtesy.

Fourth, I didn't like the tone that "we are xping so that's more important than what you have to do and our time is more valuable" The person we were getting the key for is 2 levels past his af. It's not always easy to get people to come help with coffer keys, especially if you don't have a static.

And last we were only there for 45 mins tops.

I'm done with this. I tried talking to people in tells in game and all I got was rude replies and even more rude emotes. If you want to think I'm an evil bitch then go ahead. There are plenty of people in this game who will tell you otherwise.
 
Not once did I say our xping was more valuable. Listen carefully.

Our static party can only meet once a week. On Wednesdays from 7pm - 12am.

By standing in our area and taking EVERY SINGLE MOB you ruined xp. Yeah, you got rude emotes, because you were being rude. If you would have left one beetle here and there for us, we wouldn't have cared, buyt no, you completely cleared out the area, ruining out chances for experience points. That was incredibly rude, and somebody needing a coffer key is not an excuse for rudeness. I didn't do any stupid emotes at you, but I really don't care that people did. You took every single mob that we could possibly xp on in the 45 minutes you were there. Not only is that time wasted, that's food wasted. Sole Sushi +1, Melon Pies +1 are all expensive as hell, and when someone comes and clears an area making your food only worthwhile for 15 minutes, it's going to piss somebody off.

And we didn't get a link. I slept that beetle because if you didn't you guys would have taken it and we wouldn't have gotten the xp from it.

Have whatever excuses you want, but it was rude.

As for what actually happened, I'm backing out of this one, I love Yomi, Pascal, Summer...I know Ujioi a tad and Skc too...so..

I'm hoping it was miscommunication...hoping that everything gets worked out.

But the Nyspankee dude was still being a prick.

Yeah, I did, and that's because you can probably hunt coffer keys more than ONE DAY A WEEK.

Our static CAN ONLY MEET ONE DAY A WEEK.

That means I will not get to level BLM again until next Wednesday because you guys killed EVERY SINGLE BEETLE.

Would it have been too hard to leave one out so we could have them? Or were you only thinking about yourselves? Yes, I'm pissed, and yes, you got nasty emotes and stuff but I don't apologize for ANYTHING. If I were you, I wouldn't have taken over an area that a group was trying to XP in. It is 100% bad sportsmanship and RUDE. But, apparently you and your friends just don't care about other players.

sorry, but h pretty much proved his point there... You guys are mad at him, him and his group could of easily said "you ruined our night to coffer hunt "

First off, you people shouldn't be so riled over a game. Second, there are two sides to every story. Yes the lower lvls wanted their exp, but the higher lvls wanted the key. People need to stop being so selfish to think that they should have gotten what they want. Things went the way they did. Deal with it. It's not going to kill you.
