How to get rid of Gilsellers

So, tonight I did my usual routine, but headed to Fei'Yin to get a wandering bulb for a friend, and I found myself at the Eastern Shadow spawn location after fighting some Utukku, to see Amwawp, Amwbi, Amwgo, Asialamie, and Bluelion there. So I team up with a (different)friend to even the playing field a bit for her. I noticed them holding on to bats to prevent people from grabbing specters as they pop.

So I think to my self, "Self, what could I do to stop this?"

I think, and I think. Then I came up with a way to counter this oh-so-brilliant and original tactic they are using. I call a GM. Oh, not because they're in the way of claiming the NM should it pop. I call them... for stalling. Yes, stalling... Underworld Bats. Just for giggles, actually. 62 calls ahead of mine. Time goes on, they keep it up, no NM. I get a tell from a GM. Routine conversation "Are they still stalling?" "What are their names." and the generic Investiage line.

Time goes on, specters pop and die. Yadda yadda... wait... did I see what I think I saw? Look! It happened again.. Poof, poof, poof. One by one, they all disappear.

Yes. I had the Amw Gil Sellers sent to jail, for stalling junk mobs. I'm so proud of myself.

Well, not really, but man did me and my friend have a good laugh over it.

I'm doing that in Ordelles if they still do that...probably not though >.>

I’d assume they were shocked a GM actually pulled them into a Jail. If nothing else they got a warning on there record.
 
haha!! awesome XD what my LS tended to do was invite them to the alliance and have our own BLMs Warp II them out of the area XD it's always a good laugh
 
thats awesome. they were doing that shit at behemoth one day with bats that they drug out from the cave

Nice idea! :D Except for the fact that Blms can only warp party members, not alliance members..... :roll:
 
yes..we know that XD that's why we invite them into our parties and warp them 1 by 1 if needed or try and get our BLM to be in their parties.. either way.. thay accept atleast once per person because they really don't like competition and the chance at losing gil.

Yeah Pascal, they did come back a short time after, but it was just funny.

Dunno whats more funny though. The fact that they got sent to jail over it, or that a GM followed through on a report about stalling junk mobs.
 
yea that is pretty funny considering mobs like adamantoise are being stalled with no corrective action... gg gm's =\

I just saw some of those gil sellers in Kuftul Tunnel just now so they proably wasn't in jail long but good idea though.
