I was thinking it would be nice to have a forums for how to guides, for example crafting, merits, general game terms etc?

I know theres gonna be people that will say "Yeah, but there are guides all over the net!" but that's the problem, some of them are tucked away through cavernous links in japanese sites that have been dodgily translated in google... I think it would be much more conveniant to have a mini hub full of useful threads on these here forums.

Obviously not all the guides have to be origional, I suppose with permission from their authors you could just stick them on the forums, but it would be nice to have the users of QCDN submit their own ideas too perhaps.

I was thinking you could have subforums (like the wow sub-forum in off topic) for all the different genres, like; "General", "Crafting" etc.

Meh, just throwing a couple of ideas out there :)
Cheers

EDIT: To clarify, I basically meant that there should be subforums to the guides forums already implemented, to help better organisation and maybe to help spark up the activity in the forums already in place...

I know, what I meant was sub categorys within that forums.

I wasn't thinking very hard when I wrote the post and it sounded very wrong.... so very wrong.

When I modded it, I often thought it would be a good idea to break it out a bit. I mean, it's not the highest traffic forum, but being that additionally breaking down the organization of it would benefit that forum a lot more than, say, the FB. lol

There are a whole bunch of categories mashed into stickies, as they should be, but there's not much rhyme or reason to how they are managed. These threads should be treated as resources, and managed as resources. Being lumped together, without division of subject, makes the forum less useful as a resource.
