How to play Drk 1-37?

I guarantee i have more experience at low lvl being that every job is above 37 besides new ones and bst, 400+ raging axe with souleater is easy as hell to acomplish, yes dual wield is slow but i already said I used xbow to gain TP i took a waste of a job and made it decent. All you gay ass drks wanna talka bout good you are and how bad I am parse against my nin then, you guys can just auto attack and stun when my shadows are down, Ill tank and out DoT you.

question about aspir: does it work on the majority of mobs? most dont seem to have no mp if they arent mage or beetle I've only seen it work on a few mobs

I didnt jack your thread you asked for advice i gave it to you, and I have to defend my advice to a bunch of gimps. Most of them have only drk to 75 and that was probaly there first job lvling so there bound to make mistakes, just like i did on rdm when i equiping it.

What's this you say? A Merited ninja fully geared with emnity merits no less can tank better than an afk dark ? Not only that but they can grab more dot(not involving ws) than a job with its major damage based on WS? Wow. that is such an amazing revalation that a job that's well geared can beat somone in damage that is AFK and not even doing shit.
Also when the hell did we go from me talking about war WS to answer Khidirs question on WAR when he specifically asked a question concerning WARto talking about it on DRK. If your drk can hit 400 on raging axe or whatever shittty ass pre rampage ws you are speaking of then a drk can definetly top that with a gaxe.

When did it change to a war thread? DRK or WAR were still talking about great axe vs axe. I used great axe getting my war to 37 but really only to cap skill, its been a while but im pretty sure the axes did more.

I never said afk i said stand there and auto attack and stun when my shadows are down, the jist of what there good for.

My general experience with the internet is that people who *proclaim* themselves as being right and all-knowing and the ultimate resource for all knowledge, tend not to know nearly as much as they put on.

Plus there's, ya know, the whole matter of opinions vs. facts, and play style preferences, and priorities (such as awesome damage regardless of cost vs. good damage without being MP sponge), and some people will have no merits and some people will have unsuited merits and some people will have suited merits ... then there's gear accessibility options (less important at lowbie levels, true), race differences, etc. ...

Anyway, there's plenty of reasons why anyone insinuating there's even remotely close to one absolutely right answer, needs a helluva lot of perspective, and their advice should consequently be taken with a great deal of salt. Better people to listen to are people who suggest something *and provide reasons* and - the clincher - those reasons make sense to you, the advice-receiver. "Because I said so" attitudes are to be avoided.

Would of thought the emo-bautie boy would of enjoyed playing drk.

Outparsing a job with a 528 delay weapon shouldn't get you all cheery coming from a job that can cut delay down to like 200ish and still drop monster numbers.

I've outparsed WARs NINs and MNKs on my DRK, and been outparsed by some as well. I can't take it to the pimped out versions of those 3 jobs, because I don't have access to low delay high damage attacks as they are.

Dropping 400 with souleater isn't really accomploshing a lot, drop 500+ raging axe without it and you can have your props, but souleater...come on, i've done 600+ with fast blades for christs sake.

If you reread what he said he was actually saying how he can both tank as well as out-DoT you on his NIN - though I'm unsure why this was even brought up. Plus NIN out-DoTing a DRK endgame isn't exactly surprising...DRK can blow other jobs out of the water if they have some carefully selected gear and merits, but otherwise can be passed up by WAR/NIN/THF/MNK rather easily.

So you subbed nin too? I highly doubt you did 600 fast blades at 30-37 as a drk/nin.

thank you for actually reading what i wrote down, Dethan seems to have a problem with that.

Even with top gear and max merits there attacks are still to slow, so follow necrosis advice and just change your job in your mog house. I already mentioned the Adaberk drk that I beat by 15%, although i never parsed against a Homam wearing drk maybe they do better with the xtra haste gear.

I ask questions to those who are experienced, I wouldnt even be on this thread if I didnt know what i was talking about, Khajit however came on to my thread i wrote about thf and started giving advice on gear he doesnt even have, guess he didnt know i was asking good thfs for advice. You will never find me on a thread giving advice on something i have no experience with. If i was full of myself I wouldnt ask questions to better myself in the first place i would feel i already know the answer.

Only reason i brought up end game drk parseing was cause my credibility was being challenged.
