kill NM's in northen part of al'taiu accessable by new portals where the telecrystals used to be on the south side of each tele-crag
get White card or Red card
buy Cosmo-Cleanse from NPC in Port Jeuno near windy airship door for 50k
use your card and cosmo-cleanse to enter limbus once every 72 hrs, 18 person max, beginning timelimit 30min
fight mobs for Ancient Beastcoins

upgrade recipies:

Too numerous to list atm.. ill fraps it at some point when im not crashing out constantly. damn you POL, recepies seem to be 3 items (some fairly hard to get) and 15-35 beastcoins each.

yum. -4 BP timer on evokers body +1 +5hmp
and -1 perpetuation on evokers feet +1

um.. and every piece is lvl 74.. ow
 
Any ideas yet whether you can redo the AF1 Quests when you've upgraded them all...

Seems weird that SE has spent all the time to introduce capped areas and ballistas and then takes away your ability to use AF in 60 cap areas if you want to upgrade...
 
dunno but looks expensive as hell too.
my pigaches have ether cloth as part of it, those are 200k each, glittering thread (dunno what it is, not sold on AH under that name) and ancient lumber.

Thats cheap for an end game piece of equipment imo...
 
actually, its cheaper then dynamis. and, do you have a list of the +1 AF's ACTUAL effects? i havent found any, so they dont look that good at all.
 
can talk to the NPC and see em all, or check the other thread that has what was in the datfiles.

evoker body is +45mp -4 bloodpact perpetuation +5hMP and +25 elemental avatar resist.. just for example

Another Dynamis, like I got time too commit too a scheduled event when I am on an always changeing schedule at work where I can't commit myself too a certain time. Oh well thanks for the info.
 
for pld af, it sux. doesnt increase hp. if it does increase hp, its a crap piece. some jobs have it better than others
 
bah.....the AF Armor from Dynamis is enuf for me to worry about. i wont even bother with Limbus if AF+1 is the only benefit. unless AF+1 has a hidden effect like AF2 does....but i doubt it.

Only reason to bother with it, is if the enhancements are stronger. :?

Which again, saves you money(assuming you can upgrade peice by peice) since you'll only really need to be interested in the enhancement peices, just like Relic armor.

true, however, my logic is this:

wearing a full set of AF2 armor gives a hidden effect that not many ppl know about. the PLD AF2 effect being Enemy Critcal Hit Rate - 10 or 20%. looking at the stats of Relic vs AF+1, they are VERY similar in DEF and HP, so the only thing that would make me want to take the time to get the AF+1 would be a similar/better hidden effect. but we wont know about that for a LONG time i think....o well.

Do I have to lose my AF to get AF+1? I mean thats cool and all, if the armor is good but I still use a lot of it for BCNM60 and so do other people.
 
Well, AF quests are repeatable right? Maybe for each piece you upgrade, you can request the NQ version of your AF? Atleast, that's what I'm figuring.
