Well, I'm not sure anyone from Quetz who would remember me still plays or view these forums, but one can hope I suppose.

I stopped playing FFXI years ago due to joining the Army, and lost contact with alot of really amazing people i had met, being a day 1 player and one of the first NA's to get to 75 on a warrior, at least on Quetz anyway. I had the opportunity to meet tons of people, from every side of the planet.

Anywho, with FFXIV right around the corner I thought now might be a good time to try and connect with some old friends who might be doing the same, but I'm afraid I've forgotten alot of their names(2 deployments will haze your memory of anything else :crazy:) and am hoping some would recognize me and speak up. My fondest memories of gaming are with the community from FFXI and Quetz, now that I have the time to play something again, I'd like to make even more :).

Also, is there any pre ordained server that the majority of Quetz will be moving onto as of yet?
 
Nope, noone left that you'd remember :P

Talindra is still around, Amiboshi, maybe 1-2 others from the very early days of CK...
 
Courtney! Ahhh, it's good to see you :P I'm startin to remember alot of names now, that really brings me back. I had kept in contact with Tali for a while after I quit, but the Army kinda swept me up and kept me busy for a good few years. Is there any of the older players outside of the linkshell still kickin around?
 
Well I'm around the forums but quit FFXI about a year ago, working on getting into the beta with me and Barbiechic. Got my wife coming along too.
 
Marick :D What server will you guys be trying to get into? I got into OB last night and rolled on Figaro, my fiancee is still havin trouble getting in though :(

We hadn't really decided yet, we were gonna wait and figure that out once we got access. Probably try and roll on one where we have some friends.
 
She's doing good, visiting family atm. Been through some crazy stuff recently, but everything is working out.
 
Yeah, all three of us will be back for 14. Tried getting into the beta but it doesn't seem to like us much, so we will probably just wait til the 22nd.
 
Ya I noticed your thread on the beta crash, I posted some stuff on there that might help ya out. I had some major problems getting it to run also lol.
 
Yeah, I'll probably check into that when I get home from class tonight. I don't think I have an ATI Catalyst, but I might, never really paid much attention to my status bar to see what all was there. That could be the problem with all three of us because they are having the same problem as I am. We will see then I guess.
