okay, I know to a lot of established shells this seems like an accomplishment that nobody gives a damn about... but considering the luck lolDynamis has had, I'm fucking happy

Anyways, a little back info. I joined lolD last April... a few weeks after the shell had formed. Saw Sorc's Tonban (pants, from lolbastok) drop on one of my first runs. Lost the lot, naturally. oh well, I figured they'd drop again.

Fast forward to today, haven't seen them drop since.

Well, Karma has to pay off sometime right? I mean I even started leading the damn shell after Cythe quit, my shit's gotta drop sometime eh?

Well, I told everyone on Monday, that tonight would be an "optional" run, since it's black friday. No points for anyone that was here. (This was meant to let peopel skip for RL reasons... but I've got a feeling there were a few people EXPing instead, but I was too lazy to /sea whore D: ) Ended up with 35 people, not bad (I'd have expected 45ish on a normal day in city).

Only 4 BLMs were here tonight, including one on his first run (so he couldn't lot). The other 3 of us didn't have the Pants, of course.

15 minutes into the run they drop. I jumped, finally seeing my babies drop. Then I lotted. Xynin and Rampagesama both lotted lower than me... I broke into a fit of hysterical laughter IRL, never thought I'd see the day. My little sister gave me a few wierd looks but I didn't care, I had my fucking Sorcerer's Tonban! :D :D :D

A half hour later, MNK Feet drop. We're basically maxed out on those so I got them for my 55 MNK.

A half hour or so later, another pair of BLM Pants dropped. I couldn't believe my eyes... broke into one of those hysterical fits again. I even yelled out this time. Ramp and Xynin have both had next to perfect attendence to join and they were both deserving to win. Ramp ended up winning.

Fast forward an hour or two, we've gotten 100cc x2 (grats Gladdy and Spellbroker), BST (enjoy it on your 15 BST moink, lol). And then pair of pants number 3. The laughter came back... I couldn't believe it. We went in with 3 people lotting BLM and all 3 of them got? And we haven't even SEEN the damn pants in... months? Xynin won them.

It figures, I had an emo breakdown in Windy on monday about how I was never going to win my Gloves/Pants, and we get them today. Moral of the story? Emo's suck, unless your name starts with an A and ends with a js.

(Poor Galiant, only BLM who's been in the shell as long as me and only other one with Sorc's Hat... had to miss tonight due to last minute RL stuff ; ; He's going to kill something over missing this)

So the pants finally dropped, eh? Haha, about goddamn time. Of all the time I spent running the show there, I always found it comical how large our BLM base was, and how scarce our BLM city drops were. Congrats to you all on some long waited loot.

And yeah, I realize that was really a wall of text... Too happy to care atm D:

(btw I guarentee you if I were to quit we'd see a million pairs of BLM Gloves drop, just like how we started getting multiple PLD Boots every run after you quit D: )

Grats man. Last 2 Dynamis I attended were Bastok and Windy, and I ended up winning the pants and gloves. I was pretty pumped as well. =) Enjoy!
 
Gratz, Ajs! :) I remember all the Bastok runs where a million SAM and MNK and PLD pieces would drop, but never any BLM. XD Glad you guys finally got some. I can't wait til I get BLU high enough to join you guys again.
 
Funny, I always thought pants drop was common. It was the first thing I got. I remember when I was in Loveless, 4 dropped in one run. I was the unlucky 5th person (damn you Xantraillles!!) Oddly enough, I got my pants in LolDynamis when it just started, I think it was the first run. That was my first AF2.

Whenever I hear about other shells, I always hear about how pants drop too much. It's about time lolD got our share of the luck XD
 
I remember that run, too! I think it was my first Dynamis run ever. It was lolD's second or third run ever, I believe. We ended up getting the win with only like 24 people. Good times. :)
 
Ya, my shell has a jacket shortage. ';,,;' That's why I'm still 4/5. The one run I missed, 2 dropped and one went to a sub lotter;

Coat is the only piece we get consistantly... We've gotten 7, more than any other Glacier piece (and more than any other BLM piece, period >_>)
 
We've gotten... hmmmm. Luffy, Akahira, Villarel... I think that's it since Umai started. 2 of the 3 stopped coming right after getting them (lol).

And thanks agian for the opportunity to step up and Tank/Select in Dynamis ,wow Main tanking in Dynamis is fun :D them Monks are brutal though >.<
