Hydra Gear

Is it worth getting? I picked up the gloves the other day, like 'em a lot. Seems there's tons of other stuff out there though, and the other hydra pieces are rarely in the AH these days. What should I really focus on for hands and feet?

Hydra gear makes nice acc gear that comes with evasion and -%dmg (phys/magic depending on peice) I like them especially for soloing but if you are looking to further boost your damage, homam hands/feet are pretty much ideal, other options include dusk hands/feet, askar hands, aurum feet.

During TP gain focus should be haste, all the items I listed, except dusk, in addition to providing haste, provide significant amounts of acc/dex which allow them to keep up with hydra gear acc wise. However, drg has large amounts of natural acc so depending how you gear your self in other areas, dusk is still an option (and available from AH).

For ws first make sure you have enough acc then look at stacking STR/DEX (STR more important than DEX) AF+1 or heca are very nice for stacking STR/DEX with, some races have decent RSE2 gear available as well. Askar or Ares are also some decent sets for ws gear.

/late Hydra paired up with other damage reduction gear works wonders. If you are more worried about saving MP or not doing dmg (ie skill up, WSing), some hydra pieces, Iron Ram lance, jelly ring make for good times.

Hydra gloves are good for accuracy if you don't have access to Wyrm Finger Gauntlets, they're the 3rd best acc you can get out of that slot (behind WFG +1 and WFG NQ).
