Let it first be said that this has been bad blood (to my knowledge) for a week. I've stayed quiet over time of the asshole things he's said, and genuinely told myself that he's a good guy. He helped out on my reverend mail run (let it also be known he wasn't there to help me, but another person during the run. He did stay for my pop). Overall, I was under the impression that he just goofed off a lot. I now see it for what he is. Vindictive, arrogant, rude, threatening, petty, disruptive, self centered, a cry baby, and a liar. You see, it's easy to tell your story to everyone and hope that, based upon your reputation, they just believe it. It's far easier to say someone did this, that, or the other and only tell half the story. The story that shows you to be the greatest victim in the history of Quetzalcoatl. I want to believe that it's strictly for attention, as though he's just a child. However, it's more than attention. It's what he'll say to you to get what he wants, then say to someone else behind your back. I can say, without a doubt, that I've met some really good friends on this server. Ones that make it near impossible for me to stay away from a game I don't really enjoy all that much. I have unfortunately met some real pieces of shit as well. This thread is dedicated to one.

You see, Hollie is getting a very bad rap in this whole situation. First off, the day the Zahak's mail dropped in that LS event, the LS was told to free lot on it. Hollie won the free lot. Someone please explain to me how this is a binding contract? He also likes to point out that Hollie never went to another LS event. This is also false, according to Hollie. The major reason, after all the small things that built up, that Hollie left is Jamal's reaction the day that Hollie left early from camping ZNM's. Hollie helped them for hours with ZNM's and, when he went to leave, Jamal brought up the Zahak's Mail as though Hollie owed him more of his personal time. Being as how this is a game, Hollie said that enough was enough and left. He quit ShakenBake and moved on with his life in and out of the game. After all, when we originally joined we were under the impression that this would be a mon-wed-fri shell. It quickly turned more than that. On top of that, he also added a points system. We did not like points systems, but dealt with it. Hollie stayed in the LS, but this effectively meant I had nothing to gain from being in this LS. My RL time is extremely limited, I'm not spending all of it on a game. Between work and the gym, trying to get in better shape, as well as an encounter we had on a sunday I decided it wasn't worth dealing with Jamal.

The final straw for me was the encounter we had on a sunday. After dynamis, we decided to go out and farm zeni. We farmed zeni for a bit, but only Hollie had enough to do a pop item. A tier 1 mob dropped an earring he wanted as well as a back piece that Coustain wanted. We're a dynamis LS, but we're all casual players and friends. We all went out, killed the NM, and got both drops. We gave the seal to another LS member. It was just something fun to do together because when you're with good people and are enjoying yourself, you want to surround yourself by them. This concept is out of reach for Jamal's comprehension. He was pissed that we were doing this with our LS, like we stabbed ShakenBake in the back. The bullshit about us counter camping Shakenbake is just more lies and bullshit he's bringing up so that he sounds more like the fucking victim to Khidir. Ask anyone who was there that night. It's bullshit. Anyhow, I hope that clears up a bit about the Hollie/Z-Mail bullshit. For that matter, his defaming me to only god know's who. Here's some shit for you. I'll start off with my PM's from him. He's made it clear in another Flameboard post that posting PM's is acceptable.

I didn't respond to your PM because we don't need nor want your help. Hollie's actions were without your help, but I sure as hell will warn others to make sure not to bring him along to anything involving drops. Khidir, it's fair warning to you, I don't want you to get screwed like we did. I didn't say his name because if you were interested in who I was going to bring it to PM.

I don't want to shit on his thread any further, so we may as well talk it out here. If i had 3M to give you, I would. I have 60k, so my assumption is that won't cut it nor is it worth bothering with. You don't need my help is one thing, but to not want it is hurtful man. You're blaming me for someone else's actions. I've told him RL, I've told him IG, and I've made it public that I don't agree with him having the Zahak's Mail and not putting in the time to pay back the shell for a 3M piece (I got that value from FFXIAH.com btw). I mean, really if it's a question of my character then by all means ask around. Hell, you're good friends with Willian (I believe, since he and Audino are good friends). He's met me RL; I'm sure he'd vouch for me. I go out of my way to help people if I can but I gotta put RL first so I couldn't put the work in to pay off Hollie's debts. Which is about the only thing I could do, short of trying to figure out how to farm up 3M to pay the LS back. Either way, the person you want to believe I am isn't the person I actually am. Hate Hollie all you want, but I'm not trying to burn bridges with good people over shit that I didn't do. There's countless people on this server who would vouch for the type of person I am. Blazeoffury, Tristamgreen & Stine, Scwall, Eleibfrid, Khidir. I'm not the one who got the drop and quit a week or two later man, I told you up front RL was getting difficult and I owed you guys so I offered my help. Sucks when you're smacked in the face with your own kindness though.

I'm glad you see why I've been upset then. It was my kindness that allowed hollie to get it despite not even camping the NM, just showing up after we had claimed.

It was kindness that allowed me to let him lot it, despite having shown up to 0 events. It was also kindness that kept me from not going absolutely ballistic at you guys for fucking farming ZNM's with your dynamis LS and never showing up to our events.

Kindness is over. That Z.mail was our first big kill as an LS, and deserves to be in the LS. Normally when people get something, they try to help out the LS, but for 3 weeks after Hollie exp'd during all of our required LS events, even ignoring tells.

Like I said in the thread, I don't care that you guys are friends, my beef isn't with you, but I will warn ANYONE who may come into contact with that piece of shit.

Dude, I'm not defending his actions, they're shit. That's without a doubt. But I'm also not trying to have my rep taken down because of him nor lose a friend over his ridiculous actions. I know that was a huge piece, the first big kill for the LS plus the first Zahak's on the server. It's just out of my hands man. I just know you're mad at me since there's no interaction on the boards or IG anymore, and I don't understand why you're mad at me when I literally did nothing. Unless you're still mad at me for being unable to do anything with the LS but as I've explained I had to prioritize my life for a while.

This isn't about you, it's about him. Like I said, this has nothing to do with you, but I will make fair warning to anyone who decides to give him a chance.

If something does happen just /tell me immediately and I'll work it out with you and whoever is involved. Not let anyone hold back dangerously(though I doubt) sounds a lowline of mpking and stealing.

As far as the trash thing goes, we both know that we view things differently and act accordingly to our beliefs. I realize this is a potential gamble if this Hollie person is really so bad, but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

You take gambles regardless with anything, trusting and to have that trust returned is always a gamble of course it's higher or lower depending on the person. Like I said before if i goes downhill I'm not dodging blame. I plan to run this zeni very carefully just so there aren't any misunderstandings nor possible conflicts as I have read/heard about in the past.

To the respect part I honestly didn't think you did really. I don't like you or some of your methods but I respect your capability with the few things we've done together.

Hollie owes our ls 10M (the price of the Z.mail when he obtained it). Unless this piece is given back or we are fairly compensated, I will drop all rules at any encounter with him.

If this is not carefully handled, I may also be at liberty to change our plans should we see Hollie doing ZNM's. You will be caught in the crossfire for not heading my warnings.

First off, the run with the Zahak's mail. That was free lotted by everyone. Hollie won the lot for the Zahak's mail and LYrai won the lot for the Black Tathlum.

That's less than half of your current memebers were part of the LS at the time. I doubt that they're actually "hurt" by not having that Z-Mail anymore. Besides, next time don't open it up to free lot. There was no point system at the time, you expanded the hours that you were planning to run (originally was just a mon-wed-fri thing) and he's not the only one who has received an item without you. The reason I quit was because between the point system and the expanded time, I would never stand a chance of getting anywhere in your LS. Fuck, I barely found the time to sleep without playing the game. I still don't. Simple fact is, Hollie isn't the only member who participated in ShakenBake that got something and left. Whenever life starts to get me down, I take a walk downtown. See the people struggling on the street, looking for pennies to survive. Life's short, and it sucks yes. But humility can do an awful lot to a person's perspective.

Rather than worrying about how you're overworked and bitching about it over an internet forum, realize how lucky you are to have a job. There's friends of mine that are out of work, Merryl Lynch just capsized, the economy is nearing a peril-like state; the last thing this country needs is an unmotivated work-force.

If you don't like your job, give it up. Go without work for awhile, and then take a look back at what you were doing. I know there are others in this world who would take your positions in a second and be greatful for the opportunity to bring at least a little to the table.

I'm a big picture man, and frankly, in the big picture being employed is something you should be thanking the big guy upstairs for. I'm blessed after a ton of hardwork, but I give credit where credit is due for the opportunities that came my way.

So here's what grinds my fuckin gears. By the end of the second sentence, this arrogant mother fucker has already crossed the line of hypocracy. How can that even be possible?
