I am Bored with FFxi so i am takinga break, looking for another MMORPG

i play some ragnarok online pretty casual fun, but depending on your server (infinite possibilities) it can be a real grind. i also play Dungeons and Dragons online. its pretty fun.
 
i was thinkin about tryin out maple story, if its free

need something to do while lfping

Maple Story is free, but there are a ton load of hackers so I can't say that its really enjoyable when you see people running around with invincible-like abilities.

I didn't play the game too much, but found it somewhat enjoyable at first when you get to kill little blob things. After that I kinda lost my interest though.
 
I've tried out Maple Story, too! Don't like the battle system, though, how there's a billion mobs you can't avoid running all over you while you're trying to kill one thing....BAM, dead.
I'm only lv 11, though, that's too weak D:
Just a young game, aimed at them whipper snappers.

Give a WoW a chance I guess. It destroys the competition no matter how much people bash it or complain about it (even though most of the complainers are the ones playing 8+ hours a day).
 
hehe, WoW is awesome. It takes a bit to find a good guild/community but once you do it's awesome. And PVP ftw

I tried "Fly for fun" once, was okay for a free mmorpg. (FlyFF)
 
WoW is great the first 2 times through. 1-20 is when most people from FF quit WoW and bash it, which really boggles my mind considering 1-20 in FF. After the second time, and about midway through the third time you'll discover WoW is a carbon copy of itself that NEVER changes whatsoever. Same quests, same monsters, same dungeons, same everything. I quit FF for a while and built up 3 Lv.70's in WoW. It made the return to a decent community where people have attention spans over 45 seconds long all the better.
 
Give WoW another, serious, chance. It really does have a shitpot of decent content, and is far more approachable than FF is/was. Wonderful break game. Check this thread out to see some of the content WoW has to offer that you may have missed. Also we have a pretty decent WoW forum here at QCDN wayyy down at the bottom where you'll find quite a few FF alumni and the servers they play on. This should be the WoW QCDN Forum

Oh and don't forget to check out this link for Google's search results of about 2,520,000 pages as to why wow sucks. ~zing

I know human life is never really comfortable with change when something like "wasting all your free time in a fictitious world so that nothing really lasts and nothing can't be solved with a click of your power button." but maybe you should try taking up a hobby, even if it includes being alone inside your house knitting a new tacky scarf, at least your not sitting in goldshire with your female elf priest hitting up OTHER creepy men, or god forbid, WOMEN that can't mumble out more than 2 or 3 sexists comments that ALMOST pass as pickup lines before they beg you to cyber with them, and if you even TRY to refuse (what would the point of going in the first place anyhow?) they would criticize your "bad" role-playing. Point is, you're better off roaming away from these parts for a few weeks just to taste what life really has to offer when you actually put forth effort into it.

I don't agree with the WoW bashing but I do agree with the point behind it.

IRL is the best new game around right now, go join the..offline.. sensation!
