I, for one, was glad to see the whole story. I don't know this player, and I've never yet had something on QCDN affect my in-game responses to someone, but the responses of some other people make much more sense in this context.

I'm no longer wondering why people are being cold-hearted about this apology.

Anyway, if Shizia can overcome the mistrust he's created, so much the better, but I feel better informed now of what's really at stake.

Why did I bother to post those links? Because people are bitching about "Oh give the guy a chance. He means it this time" Well, he may mean it but other people have reason NOT to believe it.

Good for you if you like to base your opinion on the little information provided. Others would like to know the reasoning behind the disbelief held by many when it comes to this type of "I'm sorry, please redeem me" post.

"Oh there's just 1..2...3...4...5...6.... umm... It doesn't matter what's happened in the past, it's what he's going to do NOW that matters." That's fine and dandy if that is true. Past behaviour is a good predictor of what will happen in the future. It's not a guarantee and that's what Shizia has to prove. He knew what was coming to him when he posted this (mainly because he's posted it so many times before).

Put myself in his shoes? I'd never get in his shoes in the first place. I don't swear very much and usually it's not offensive enough to garner the hatred of a large majority of the community.

I've had my run-in's with Shizia. Hell, one of those threads Palum cited were directed at me. Things got bad...

However, I eventually talked with him about everything that had gone down and we are on pretty decent terms. As long as nothing else happens, things are cool

Yes, Shizia has had lots of bad encounters with people as it has been said by several people. But instead of just blowing up time after time, take it to the source itself and talk with him. I may be more forgiving then most people, but you have to give it a chance sometimes. I took that chance and settled my conflicts. But that's me.

Basically for a note to Shizia and everyone else: Stop fucking around and just play the game. Don't be a dick. Unless it is something that is affecting you, shut the fuck up and go about your day. And if it is affecting you, work it out on your own terms instead of bringing up stuff that has turned out to be pretty inconsiquential.

While I largely agree with your post, the only problem I really have with it is that Shizia is the OP. So if he brings it here and accepts flames, which he did, then flame on. He brings it upon himself.

And I might've just kept on reading but I couldn't stop myself from screaming 'shenanigans'. You wont find my posts in any of the threads Palum posted :p
