yea, that sucks... but I agree with Cubs on this one... you fk up, you fk up.. i wouldn't go hunting down the person who lucked out and made a huge profit off my screw up. thats not fair to the seller.
 
once i put up things in my bazaar and had terrible lag spikes, one of the items was Hauberk .(8mil that time) well somehow it went in bazaar for 8k instead of 8mil ... u can figure it was bought instantly ... PANOZ got it ..
he asked me if i really wanted to sell it for 8k ...but when i ask for a few gilz back he said things like "I'm his lil brother Panoz is not home...."

I'm sorry that happened to you. This happened to me before a long time ago when the new gobbie bag quest came out. I accidently bid on an item for the gobbie bag quest for 2.5mil instead of the normal price. I never got my money back either. From that day on...I'm more careful now. Always take your time when your bidding on something that high and be aware of what your buying.
 
I don't really care for those with the "you could afford it, so you have more money" outlook. That's just being a complete jerk. I know he's not obligated to return the money but that excuse does not justify why he should get to keep it.

Its ok we've all been there, i over bid 1mil buying my prism cape, i just ate it and moved on. lol now its like 2mil more then i paid for it o.O

True, that outlook is wrong, but give it a slight twist to: "you could spend X amount of gil w/o a care in the world, least of which being to make sure you're getting what you want, so X amount of gil isn't very important to you anyway", and it has some merit. When I buy crystals at the AH, I'm sometimes careless, and have bought singles for the price of a stack. As this logic would dictate, I end up saying, "Ah well, only 4k." That's how I feel too. If the amount of gil I'm spending isn't something I can shrug off, then I'm not careless with it.
