i wont lie ... there is some chance that i may come back but its still kinda low
so how is everyone who still play this game ?
 
I'll be honest, I enjoy the much-more casual -friendly stance SE has taken with the game since Abyssea came out. Even with the limited amount of time I have available to play, I can still make some tangible progress.
 
Ya, it's a lot better than before where you had to turn it into a second job just to get some stuff done. And even with the easy mode button, people still suck lol
 
God, don't remind me. I took a little time out today to do a few seals for my DRG, and holy hell that shout group was gimp.

It's kinda like seeing someone in almost full Perle; you look at them, look at the one piece of armor that does not match the set, and you think: "Jesus Christ, do you not realize that the 8% haste you're skipping out on for your TP set easily outweighs the whole 'Look at me, I had someone brew Shinryu for me' factor of wearing a Twilight Helm? You're a fucking gimp for wearing that shit in the 90s anyway, at least have some sense and do it properly".

I honestly refused to level my MNK past 79 until I had full AF3+2 and a Black Belt lol. Sure, my weapon is still gimp, and my WS set sucks, but I at least kinda look like I know what I'm doing.

Man, have you even read the Official Forums? That'll make you want to burn this game and never look back.
 
I'm used to people making bad gear decisions; that much has never, and will never change. What boggles my mind is stuff like the Perle set, where there's a defined set bonus that is what makes the set worth wearing, and I'll still see people doing something retarded like wearing Dusk Gloves with it.
 
What gets me is when I try to explain simple things to people. Like Ranger and Jupiters Staff and how it doesn't effect the Bow or how if you have a Gandiva two crit dmg Daggers are better they never listen to me. They actually end up getting mad at me and freaking out on me. And I know this is hard to believe but I don't insult people when I see them wearing that stuff for the first time. I try to be kind and inform them there are better options but they just refuse to listen.

Hell, this has happened on Quetz more than once. There are two Rangers who swear they're the best yet they full time FIRE STAFF with Gandiva and refuse and I mean REFUSE to use the Crit Daggers. And yes, they're both /Nin.

Glad to hear you're doing well, and I agree with Raes and Myrhh - it might be even more enjoyable in casual/easy mode because of the added comedy factor XD

I remember you but really only on here. I never played with you much. Tristam and I don't play anymore but there are some nice people that still do.
