i can see again!

Well, just yesterday i got glasses. Im like 17 years old and this is the first pair ive ever had... and you dont realize how bad ur eyesight sucks until u get glasses...omg. its like getting a new freakin graphics card for RL .. superman vision i tell ya.

its kinda funny tho, i went to the eye doctor like 5 months ago, and i had 20/20, my eyesight was fine. then i started noticing a lil bit of nearsightedness so i set up another visit with my eye doctor. He said he's never seen anything like it before. in the window of 5 months, my vision dropped from 20/20 to 20/50.. lol. all i can blame is my dad for his gene... he is pretty much blind @_@

Yeah, I've heard that staring at something for long periods of time can cause your eyes to adjust to whatever distance it is. Supposedly it helps if you close your eyes really hard for a few moments and when you open them make sure to focus on something at a further distance. I don't buy into genetics anymore when it comes to vision.
